Avis à la une
This movie is an absolute disaster from start to finish. The lead actress delivers one of the worst performances I've ever seen-flat, lifeless, and completely unconvincing. It felt like she was reading lines off a teleprompter with zero emotion. The script is uninspired, the pacing is painfully slow, and the dialogue is so awkward it's almost laughable. I lost interest within the first 10 minutes, and it only got worse from there. The plot goes nowhere, the supporting cast is forgettable, and the entire production feels low-effort. There's no suspense, no engaging moments, and absolutely no reason to sit through this train wreck. If you value your time, do yourself a favor and skip this mess-trust me, you're not missing anything except boredom and frustration.
Watching this movie one gets the impression that its characters mirror the way that Netflix views its subscriber base: a sad, slovenly, segment of Americans who aren't enjoying much about their lives, spouses, kids, jobs, friends or anything else. It's an unhappy movie for unhappy people, and it's very unlikely that jokes about female facial hair, bodily fluids, and pregnancy gross-out humor is going to cheer them up.
It's hard to even imagine why a writer would sit down to write something like this, or why an actor would sign on - other than to receive a paycheck. And that's the saddest part of all. The people who made this movie and the executives who green-lit it will all return to their homes in the Hollywood Hills, while the average Netflix subscriber will slink off to bed feeling a little more depressed and jaded than they did before. It's not what anyone needs in today's world. Netflix doesn't care about entertainment, they've admitted that. They make second-screen content to play in the background while you scroll your phone. And that's exactly what this is.

"Kinda Pregnant" tries to be a funny and lighthearted movie, but it just doesn't work. The story is very predictable, so you always know what's going to happen next. There are no surprises, and everything feels like something you've seen before.
The jokes aren't funny at all. Most of them feel forced, and instead of making you laugh, they just make you cringe. It's like the movie is trying too hard to be funny, but it completely misses the mark.
The main actress makes it even worse. Her acting is way too over-the-top, and instead of being fun to watch, she's just annoying. It's hard to sit through the movie because her performance is so exaggerated.
Overall, Kinda Pregnant is not a movie worth watching. It's predictable, not funny, and the acting is just too much. There are way better comedies out there.

Watched it because I needed a laugh and like Amy Schumer but she does always play the same roles. It had a good storyline but tried to force laughs from swearing and crassness. Typical American girly comedy to make teenage girls giggle.
It did have potential but instead of making you feel good it got more and more pathetic. Urzila Carlson a New Zealand actress was thrown in much like Rebel Wilson is in all her American comedies to try to make it funny because of the accent. But again there was no reason for such exaggeration. Films are not a maths equation and if you put the same numbers you will get it right.

I kind of liked Amy Schumer, but I've only seen her in one movie before. The main character here is inconsistent and no one would put up with her, even if real life was a bad comedy. And why do all the jokes have to be so stupid? The premise is good and could have been a good foundation for a really great comedy... If only the jokes hadn't been so ridiculous and desperate. Some scenes are ok, or rather they start ok and then fall apart. It's inconsistent and not very smart and of course there is some sort of twirking in slow motion. I hope it ends well for the character. I don't know cause I stopped watching at 50.45 after yet another failed try to make me laugh.

- AnecdotesThe wheelchair user congratulating Lainy on her fake pregnancy is Amy Schumer's actual father Gordon.
- GaffesLainy attends Kate and Shirley's joint gender reveal party and they all gather outside, around the baby piñata. Rawn (Shirley's husband) is wearing a white baseball cap with red sunglasses around it. Shirley begins a speech, then halfway through (when she adjusts the phone Rawn is holding) the sunglasses have vanished. They then reappear again afterwards.
