Lego Star Wars: The Yoda Chronicles is a clever piece of animation that attractively mixes Lego elements with the world of Star Wars, and tells an interesting new story in this fashion.
If you happen to love Lego and Star Wars, then you'll love the Lego Star Wars animations. But let's face it, it's pretty niche. If you just like Star Wars and not Lego, then you may find the Lego appearances of characters to be too far from the originals. And, if you just like Lego and not Star Wars, then you'll probably struggle to understand what's going on.
I watched Star Wars when I was a kid, but it's been so long that I don't remember much about what happens in the films. But, as an extreme Lego fan, I thought that I should give the Lego Star Wars animations a go. I'll be honest; I didn't understand everything that was going on, and I didn't recognise some of the characters, but even so I could appreciate that the quality was high.
To make a long story short - you should check this out if you are a fan of the Lego Star Wars franchise, but probably leave it be if you either don't know anything about Star Wars or you dislike Lego! Simple as!

The New Yoda Chronicles is a pleasant surprise, offering a continuous storyline that requires watching the episodes in order to fully enjoy it. Unlike other LEGO Star Wars specials that feel more like standalone sketches, this one builds a coherent narrative where each chapter adds a meaningful piece to the whole.
The tone stays true to the LEGO universe: plenty of humor, constant nods to the original saga, and a visual style that's simple but effective. While not all moments are equally sharp, the series as a whole feels charming, aimed both at kids and nostalgic adults. It doesn't try to be epic or profound-it just wants to entertain with affection for the world it's parodying.

Funny and some good jokes in this short series. Im watching this after Episode II Attack of the Clones movie, and thought this would be dull and lame, but surprisingly had some good laughs watching this lego adaptation!
Recommend it, especially gives some nostalgic feelings seeing this aired on Cartoon Network which i never watching anymore =)
