Adverised as a story about an unusual couple, this series is touching on quite a lot of topics, that I won't enumerate to avoid spoilers.
I did not like everything about it: a lot of stereotypes, flasbacks can be too dirupting sometimes, even though other times they are giving good explanation for the protagonists actions; the main actress cames off wooden, but we see her back story and it makes sense; I did not feel strong chemistry between the main characters, but this might be intentional; the long shots are sometimes just too long.
What I did like and stands out is that it did not feel generic. The story is interesting with a few twists that at least don't feel far feched. The suspense can be gripping, which is not a surprise since it comes from the crew behing the Money Heist. The characters, even though most of them start as stereotypes, are three dimensional and I really grew to care about them.
Directing and acting are good, script feels genuine, the plot is at times convoluted, so with some downsides I loved the show and can't wait for the next season.
