Midnight Perturbation

Had the privilege of seeing this at the cinema at the premiere and thoroughly enjoyed the cinematic experience which has only been amplified by the blu-ray i also picked up, which i notice has a killer revamped scene.

From the start this film drives slow with tension, building characters and conflict the best it can with such a small budget until it hits midnight and the real fun begins with blood, great sfx and top acting. Most notable for me are Oriana Charles and Andre Harrison AKA Andre. S Cura.

My only negative which is not really a negative but a hope is that they didn't have a budget to really go crazy with the idea but such a smart team of creatives they are to do what they did and deliver an experience most multimillion budget films struggle with. Can't wait for more! Bring on the sequel!

Really enjoyed this film! As a long time horror fan since the 60's this felt very Hammer Horror but with rejuvenation and to hear they only had a budget of under 3k! That being said don't go into this movie expecting Hollywood imagery, this is true independent cinema done properly. Also soundtrack compliments the fear splendidly and the sfx were top notch, I really i wish we got to see more.

Top notch acting especially from the lead Oriana Charles, a scream queen in the making. One's only gripe with this film is there are not enough kills and wished it were longer though I hear a sequel is on the way. I'm all in. Even got me buying a Blu Ray just to watch it (cheeky buggers) which is something I haven't done in donkies.

Overall, I really enjoyed this film not what I was expecting and made me think back to when I first discovered horror which is no easy accomplishment for an oldie like me. Highly recommend.

A great cast lead this horror film based on demonic possession. A very slow start but thats not a bad thing as the characters are a lot of fun. Take 'Jaime' for example, whose humour had me bending over with laughter until the demon makes its presence felt in a big way.

And leading lady Oriana Charles who plays the possessed victim 'Amy' shines through. On such a small budget they really make this so believable and as the story progresses you really feel for everyones safety as to just wanting to see heads roll which is what I am usually all about.

This is down to the great writing and casting and not to forget the directors vision which pulls it off splendidly. I give it a 10/10 as with the budget they made a bloody great film. Is it perfect? No but I loved how they go this made and love the whole sci-fi twist on possession. One to watch for sure.
