Twin Flames: Les dérives d'un univers de rencontres

This one got me for sure! I sat down intending to watch an episode and ended up binging all three. Cults fascinate me in general, but the unique cruelty of this one was how they targeted people's most vulnerable and innate desires: love + intimacy. It was truly heartbreaking, but I feel like this mini docu-series clearly displayed how these events unfolded and built upon each over of the years. Masterful and deliberate schemes.

Visually I thought this was beautifully shot & directed. I also felt the contributing survivors were believable and sincere. I hope all involved ultimately find happiness, healing the love they've been seeking. My only critique is that I feel this series could have been longer. It seems like there's much more to this story and much that's still unfolding even! I recommend binging this one.

They are lonely and feel rejected by life and buy into the premise that their soulmate (read twin flame) is out there just waiting to be lassoed in, or wait for it, maybe if you switch gender you can snare someone.

It is incredibly sad to watch these vulnerable, often highly intelligent, people be roped into this cult and eventually work for nothing for the two most narcissistic people I've ever seen. These two would put Jim and Tammy Faye Baker to shame in their manipulation and egregious and constant abuse of their followers.

And this cult is still in business in spite of multiple complaints to police departments.

The couple are so repulsive as to make one nauseous.

Worth the look and well made to show how this can happen. My heart breaks for the parents whose children were so victimized and for the couples forced to live together as "twin flames." Evil, evil.

I can understand the vulnurable people who joins a cult without realizing that it is a cult.. But I've never seen a man and a woman as 'leaders' who are so unlikable, uncarismatic and screams 'I am fake' just with their faces,words and attitude.. That's why I am kind of surprised.. Really weird.. Wake up people, you don't need anybody to be better, to find your soulmate or whatever.. You just need yourself and that's it.. These organizations must shut down without the necessary evidence required by law. It is obvious what they are.. Torturing people and their families by using their goodness, good intentions, vulnurability, etc.. Just shut it down, protect the new born and everyone in it!

I would have given this a 9 if it wasn't multiple episodes. Typical of Netflix to drag things out too long. I almost didn't keep watching after the first episode. Wasn't seeing anything exceptional or interesting. I stuck it out, and whoa... Twin Flames found a way to take a sensitive subject of current day, manipulate it and use it as a way to control people. Twin Flames is setting a dangerous precedent that will fuel the anti-trans movement.

Also to note, the chefs plate so called curated recipes all looked like food you would feed a child. Haha. I found that to be a laughable aspect of the cult. These people must have been in deep to not see the deliberate scam there.

It's absolutely wild that these two con artists are still on Instagram and YouTube and still running their scam. I hope the FBI get involved and child services. I especially feel sorry for their child who they apparently say will never allowed to have sex or a relationship because she is the third in their twin flame union. They are praying on the vulnerable and desperate.

A good, interesting and well made documentary by Netflix. Exposing this cult via real footage and multiple interviews with ex- members who've escaped and the parents of current members that are still involved.
