In the summer of 2007, 17-year-old Qingyu Qiao moved with her family from Shunyun to Huanzhou to start a new life.

Qingyu insisted that Beiyu died of appendicitis. Sheng Ming said that his father was the director of the hospital where Baiyu stayed in, implying that he could know the truth.

Qingyu Qiao and her family returned to Nanqiao Village to visit their grandparents. Qingyu looked for the traces that Baiyu Qiao left in the house, trying to know more about Baiyu.

Ms. Xiuzhen from health center told Qingyu that she didn't know why Baiyu died, but Baiyu had a miscarriage. Baiyu refused to tell who the father of the baby was until her death.

Mumu Wang accidentally fell down the stairs due to violence from her father. Mumu's ankle was injured, causing her unable to perform on stage. Qingyu arrived in time to help, and hence fulfilled her own dream of dancing.

Sheng Ming ran into Qingyu in the hospital and told her that he was going to study medicine in France. In the rain, Sheng Ming suggested to lend Qingyu an umbrella, but Qingyu refused because they will never meet again.

Doctor Le Fan recalled Baiyu's story to Qingyu, and Qingyu realized that Baiyu did not die of AIDS, but committed suicide by jumping into the sea.

Qingyu Qiao and the family returned to Nanqiao Village to keep vigil for her grandfather. Qingyu's uncle and aunt made things difficult for them. Fanghao Li could not bear it anymore and slapped Qingyu's aunt.

After the dance competition, Qingyu Qiao and Sheng Ming spent a wonderful time together in amusement park. They played with fireworks sticks at the beach and Qingyu made three wishes.

Sheng Ming is preparing to go to Beining for the overseas study examination. At the same time, Qingyu Qiao is preparing for the college entrance test.

Qingyu Qiao spent a colorful college life. Mumu Wang told Qingyu that Sheng Ming had returned to China. Qingyu sent a message to Sheng Ming, but received no reply.
