L'Histoire de ma famille

Just as I wanted to cancel my subscription for Netflix as I am kind of exgausted from the already seen scenarios, low developed plots and stupid american series (last season of You killed me) I have come to this one.

Its a very good and realistic story, nicely representing typical italian family and usual family problems, mistakes that any of us can make but also how genetics can really influence the children and sometimes we just cannot feel like a part of the family.

Parts where we can see how children developed as a consequences of their parents decisions really touched me. Worth watching.

Visually, the series is not overly stylized - and that's intentional. The grounded cinematography keeps our focus on character and story.

Despite its emotional weight, the pacing feels light and organic. I watched the whole series in just two days. It's both touching and funny - much like life itself.

La Storia della Mia Famiglia is a thoughtful, human-centered story of how we grieve - and how we change.

I started watching this following Caiazzo's performance in Il Mare fuori: I wanted to see what else he is capable of.

I entered a chaotic production in which it took me 2 episodes to understand who is who and what's going on. Caiazzo's talent is sadly untapped, leaving him with a minor, uninteresting character.

The main character is unlikeable.

The only one that shines is Cristiana Dell'Anna, but it was not enough to keep me watching it. I quit after the third episode. Nothing hooked me to this production, leaving me wondering in the end what was all about. Maybe I should have had more patience with it but I think movies should spark your interest from the beginning.

I starded watching this series thinking it would be some light funny family lemonade but oh my god!

I can't count how many times I cried.

This is beautiful story about loss, grieving and how every person are coping with a grief in own way.

Also this is realisting story how none of us is perfect, how everybody make mistakes. How we need to embrace our mistakes and mistakes of our family and close friends and learn to live with them in hope for better tomorrow.

I love how even the main character isn't perfect but tries his best for sake of everyone and he thought other characters the same.

A unique story, different from all the others I have seen and definitely I will watch this series every once in awhile just to remember to worth the life and how short it is.
