OK.let's admit - it's fun, it's a great mind escape and this show is definitely entertaining and surprisingly - suspenseful and full of twists and turns. It's also a great look into the lifestyle of the beautiful and rich in Mexico City. The acting is quite a Telenovela style - melodramatic, exaggerated and often pompous. It seems that the Mexican TV industry pulled off their heavy guns - all the most famous and most good looking actors to participate in this over complicated and messy plot.

Nevertheless- The storyline is neither reliable nor credible.... After all - 18 Chapters to find your mother, when all you could do is a simple DNA test.

Do not over analyse just enjoy! This Netflix series is pure entertainment, over the top and bizarre plot twists and turns but am massively enjoying it. The cast and clothes gorgeous to look at and this story will keep you guessing. Very easy to binge watch as each episode runs at @35 minutes so before you know it you have watched more than you realise. I highly recommend and am adoring the European dramas and thrillers that Netflix have.

Merely repeating to get the character count - why is there a large such a large minimum character limit?

While I genuinely enjoyed watching this series, I couldn't help but be struck by its uncanny resemblances to Shirley Conran's iconic "Lace.", which was made into a miniseries with Phoebe Cates. From the intricate plot details to the overarching themes, the parallels were too evident to dismiss as mere coincidence. It's intriguing to ponder whether these similarities were intentional homages or unintentional overlaps. Regardless, this element of déjà vu did cast a shadow over my viewing experience. However, it's worth noting that despite these resemblances, the series stands on its own merit. The narrative is engaging, and the plot twists are masterfully executed, ensuring that viewers remain on the edge of their seats. The cinematography and character development further enhance the viewing experience, making it a pleasant watch overall. While comparisons to "Lace" are inevitable, this series offers its own unique flavor and charm, making it a worthy addition to any television enthusiast's viewing.

This series is so bad, that it gets too a point where it gets so cringy that it's addictive. You want to see the next ridiculous thing.

The plot is quite frankly ridiculous. The twists make no sense. And the basic premise is just laughable. The characters are super unrealistic, dumb decisions, the dumbest human beings are represented in the characters.

The acting, OMG. Either not enough or too much. The lead characters are terrible. Perhaps Samantha, Tomas and Irene put on a good performance but their characters are so stupidly designed that their work gets frustrated.

I cringe every episode, so much that I feel I need to see the next stupid thing they come up with.

The series grabs you from the first minute and you can't stop watching it despite its 18 episodes. An effective narrative with constant flash backs, which describes in depth the psychology of each character, their personality, their motivations. Convincing and credible dialogues despite being a classic Soap Opera, and great performances by the entire cast, highlighting the protagonist, Camila Valero, the Director of the Boarding School Chantal Andere, and the deputy Kica Edgar..An Unmissable serie, entirely entertaining, .It combines suspense, drama, family relationships, politics with surprising balance, and despite having too many characters, none of its subplots get in the way or seem unnecessary.

Brenda wants to know who of the four women her mother is. Instead of doing a simple DNA Test, she tries to find it out by playing small games (sure, because otherwise there would be no series). She is using the most modern technologies, literally everything to hack, track and manipulate the women... I mean she tries to make of the women drunk to make her confess what happened earlier in the past. Ridiculous. I sat there and thougt: Why the hell doesn't she just steel one of their hair even though she has the abilitiy to do it a several times... this series is a nonsense series! I'm sorry!!!!!!!

Twists and unexpected turns, this nail biting drama will have you captivated from the very beginning. The storyline is consistently brilliant and the interest never fails to entertain.

Characters well matched in their roles, excellent acting and very well worth watching indeed. At the end of the episodes there are gasps and cliff hangers as the story unfolds.

An unusual plot which gradually unfolds into a thrilling story. A Mexican drama that is gripping yet enjoyable.

Thank you cast, producers and directors for such a fabulous drama, I loved it from beginning to the end, might watch it again too!!!

Just sit back, relax and enjoy this Spanish spoken serie with short episodes. To me it was a great series, especially the first episodes were wow! At the end of every episode something exciting happened which made me want to watch the next episode right away. Big plus for the acting of the whole cast, well chosen actors for each character. I would want to see more movies or series from the main characters because of the acting.

Also big plus for the music that was supportive in the scènes, the locations (I would have wanted to see maybe a bit more of Mexico. I thought they used the same overview with mountains and forest multiple times, for me they could have shown another nice view.

Also clothing was perfect for each character.

Overall I enjoyed Pacto de Silencio! Would reccomend watching it if you are just in for a short exciting series with Some crime, good acting and fun plot.

They never heard about DNA??? The whole plot is ridiculous.

It would have been OK if not for the above. Became quickly a soap.

Overwhelming music, the usual unnecessary sex scenes, this is a trend in all Spanish and Hispanic series.

The protagonist is hateful from the beginning and her vendetta is over the top. She is a psychopath.

All the characters are hateful and easily manipulated. Everyone falls in love and forget about their "mission".

The whole story could have been solved in a couple of episodes...oh but no one heard about DNA!

Ridiculous! The whole plot is ludicrous.

AVOID at all cost.

I've just finished watching the whole 18 episodes and this was awesome.

México really know how to do it. The acting is phenomenal from every single cast member. They put British actors to shame.

The multiple layers of story are gripping throughout and the direction is perfect.

I absolutely loved the beautiful scenery of Mexico and the totally stylish clothing and grooming.

I didn't want this to end and will definitely be looking out for more Mexican productions.

It's very difficult to keep one interested for 18 episodes but this certainly did.

I highly recommend this drama and thank all for their excellence.

At the beginning it seemed to be an entertaining "soap" then the last chapters turned out to be bored and quite stupid. I recommend to stop watching at episode 10 and then make up your own ending. It will be far better than the actual ending. The story is quite great during the first 9 chapters, very interesting story line and the series has wonderful twists. But then, going more to the end, something happened. It is as the story writer got I'll or dropped dead and they had to make up an ending that is contrary to the very interesting twists during the first nine chapters. Very said. Therefore I cannot recommend the serie.

This is absolute rubbish. Ridiculous plot. Terrible acting. It's awful in every way. How on earth does this have a 6+ rating. Not a single character is engaging. The plot is absolutely ludicrous and defies any logic or common sense. And the acting it seems it was deliberately sub par to match everything else sub par about the show. Gave up after three episodes and saw the finale. Glad I didn't waste time on this. The ending is even more absurd and awful than anything else you will see before. They transform the nicest guy in the show into a villain and introduce us to the dullest character Cesar. By the end you will completely hate the main character Brenda. Despite trying my very best to find anything remotely.positive to say about this show I really can't come up with anything.

I have to say the few first few episodes were really good and catchy but then it dragged on and on i fällt it was a cheap copy of the American series REVENGE !!

Revenge was very good and with many plots this one Was really painful to watch and also the main Character really bad Acting I was so bored and she was going on my nerves didn't had any sympathy for her anymore she was more nasty then the other characters I don't get it why they dragged it out to 18 episodes it was lots of unnecessary staff on there Anyway my opinion is it was just 4 Star review not more I think 8 episodes would be more then enough.

I made it through almost 30 minutes. The acting (English dubbing) is so bad. I just couldn't take much more. The story just sounds so implausible. I don't know if it makes more sense later on. I have heard of people binging on this and that's why I decided to watch it. I can't under stand how someone could take it. Just horrible, emotionless voicing. Would it be better in Spanish? I'm not sure. The main character seems really wacko. She has a huge problem but I guess it wouldn't be a good movie if she went about it another way. I suppose it would be boring. Just seems very over the top crazy. I may try again sometime.

I gave this a 5 because rather than enjoyment it gave me frustration. The series started off well and got me interested, then the frustration started. Brenda is a successful influencer, so could not understand why her character is so stupid. She wanted to know who her mum was. A simple DNA would have sufficed and she could have targeted the woman who gave birth to her. Her devious plan kept hurting people around her and the fact that she kept blaming the others was what kept ticking me off. The writers could have done better job with this soapy drama. Topic was good and storyline intriguing, but somehow went into downfall later on in the show. All in all it was entertaining if like me you love to watch women in nice clothes and living the high end life.
