Glowzies

"Glowzies" is a movie/film that I found on streaming service Tubi, it interested me so I watched it. I really enjoyed watching this film/movie and everything about this movie feels great to me including it's story, acting, special affects and so on. I feel like the zombies in this movie/film look great and in terms of the kills/deaths in this movie/film, I think that they are pretty nice.

I, social media content creator LunaMekongSalsa, think that this movie/film is a very great/good movie/film. I am personally fine with Hank Braxtan doing/making/producing a sequel or another zombie movie (if he wants to do that).

I was fortunate to stumble upon the 2023 movie "Glowzies" by random luck here in 2024. And I needed absolutely no persuasion to sit down and watch it, as this was apparently some sort of zombie movie that I had never heard about, much less seen before. And since I am a sucker for all things zombie, of course I would check out what director Hank Braxtan had to offer.

Writers Hank Braxtan, Steve Hillard, Guy J. Jackson and Dennis Nowlan put together an interesting enough take on the zombie genre. It definitely was a one of a kind take on the zombie genre, I will say that much. But that doesn't necessarily mean it was a great movie. Sure, "Glowzies" was watchable and entertaining enough for what it was, but it was hardly a movie that left a lasting impression, much less a movie I will ever return to watch a second time.

The acting performances in the movie were good, and had some familiar faces on the screen, with the likes of James Remar and Michael Dorn.

"Glowzies" actually had surprisingly good special effects. Sure, it wasn't impressive effects that will leave you slack-jawed, but for a movie such as it was, the effects definitely were good.

If you enjoy zombie movies, give "Glowzies" a chance. It actually is different enough from the mainstream zombie genre to make it worth checking out.

My rating of director Hank Braxtan's 2023 movie "Glowzies" lands on a five out of ten stars.

Good slimey fun! This is a self-aware, witty, warm homage to the movies of your childhood like GREMLINS and GOONIES.

You could watch this with the whole family, there's something in there for everyone. Feels very nostalgic but also has some really cool original elements.

Worth seeing with an audience or group so maybe host a fun night at home with friends or show it at your local movie theater.

Saw it first screened at Sitges which is pretty impressive!

Laugh out loud funny. Offbeat script that elevates the whole thing. Great comedic performances. Nice little indie horror that has a lot of heart.
