Avis à la une
I seldom review for IMDb but, after watching Jatt & Juliet 3, I felt motivated to warn prospective viewers against this movie. I enjoyed Jatt & Juliet 1 and 2, and I find both Diljit Dosanjh and Neeru Bajwa to be very charismatic, so I naively went to the cinema to watch the third installment with the expectation of a having a good time.
Unfortunately, it felt to me like the movie was two hours too long. The stars fell in love with each other within the first ten minutes, and the obstacles set up to impede the development of their relationship felt forced. Thus, for much of its length, I thought that the movie was merely delaying the obvious, despite the fact that there might or might not be a twist at the end.
At times, the movie was aggravating due to the characters' constant lying, shouting, and arguing. At other times, it was simply boring. There was also a scene where two brothers use blackface to deceive two women of African descent into going out with them. You might expect such a scene in a 1924 movie but not in a 2024 one.
Another commenter found it surprising to see Diljit Dosanjh in such a tedious movie at this stage of his career. I agree. The charming actor has appeared in many other movies that are far superior.

It's quiet amazing to see someone messing up on of the most basic hits which defined Punjabi film industry. Now you got the TITLE , you go DILJIT NEERU BAJWA u got finances still howncould you be so dumb to make a lame movie like this. I mean wtf zero talent zero story and zero talent that is all that reflects in this film. I am wondering how could you be so dumb toake such a stupid movie. Sadly all the crew is also rendered stupid but it seems they and some actors are dihadi majdoors with no talent . Jagdeep sidhu the one who was so happy with his credits of writer and director should know he has been reviewed as 1 out of 5 kindly do some other buisnesss.
Here's an extended review of the movie "Jatt and Juliet 3" based on your initial thoughts:
"Jatt and Juliet 3" is a disappointing and misguided film that attempts to justify harmful behaviors and societal issues under the guise of circumstance. The movie perpetuates a dangerous narrative that suggests that individuals are a product of their environment, and that wrongdoing can be excused if it's a means to an end.
One of the most concerning aspects of the film is its portrayal of robbery as a justifiable act. The protagonist, who hails from a poor family, is shown to be resorting to theft as a means of survival. While poverty is a serious issue that needs to be addressed, the movie's approach only serves to glorify illegal behavior. This can have a damaging impact on young viewers, who may be led to believe that stealing is an acceptable way to achieve their goals.
Furthermore, the film's depiction of corruption as a necessary evil is equally troubling. The protagonist's rise to success is shown to be facilitated by their willingness to engage in corrupt practices, which is presented as a necessary step to achieving their goals. This sends a harmful message to viewers, particularly the younger audience, that success can be achieved through unethical means.
Instead of promoting a culture of hard work and determination, the movie opts for a shortcut approach that glorifies wrongdoings. This is not only irresponsible but also harmful, as it can shape the values and beliefs of impressionable viewers. The film's attempt to justify societal issues under the guise of circumstance only serves to perpetuate a cycle of negativity and harmful behavior.
Moreover, the movie's failure to provide a nuanced and balanced perspective on these issues is glaring. There is no attempt to explore the consequences of such actions or to provide alternative solutions that can inspire positive change. The film's approach is simplistic and lazy, relying on tired tropes and cliches rather than offering anything new or meaningful.
In conclusion, "Jatt and Juliet 3" is a hopeless movie that fails to deliver any redeeming value. Its misguided attempt to justify harmful behaviors and societal issues only serves to perpetuate a cycle of negativity and harm. Instead of promoting a culture of hard work and determination, the movie opts for a shortcut approach that glorifies wrongdoings. Viewers, particularly the younger audience, deserve better than this. They deserve a movie that inspires them to be their best selves, not one that justifies harmful behavior.
Overall, I would not recommend "Jatt and Juliet 3" to anyone looking for a meaningful and inspiring cinematic experience. Instead, I would suggest seeking out movies that promote positive values and offer a nuanced and balanced perspective on societal issues.

This movie is made out of a crooked storyline tied together following the other two movies which were hit because of raw and goofy comedy in them. It delivers on the humor part but there are misrepresented behaviours and useless speeches given where they "try" to give a good "message" in the movie but really this movie is just a hit because Diljit is trending for his music and concerts.
It's okay to watch if you want to pass time and see it for the bits of comedy in it. Most songs aren't really good, alchohol use is promoted at times, and there are toxic behaviours reinforced or just straight out rooted in the storyline.
Sort of a waste of time overall :(

I'm not any professional artist, just giving my honest feedback as general audience. With due respect to whole team's hard work, watching jatt & juliet3 ain't seem fun or worthy of investing my time & money.
Although, I'm one of extremely biggest fan of Diljit Dosanjh since I was teen but this part doesn't stand anywhere near jj1 & jj2. Disappointed!
Team is quite experienced so we hope they find what went wrong because we just can't. Movie have some great punches to crack our ribs but something sucked whether it's storyline, screenplay, too deep core punjabi dialogues or whatever.
Still we love you Diljit Dosanjh & to Neeru Bajwa you're such a darling. Great performances by all artists though.
