First and foremost, I really enjoyed the plot. The fantastic bit is just enough and it turns out pretty well with one of the plot twists. Even though you get an idea pretty quickly of what is going on if you are used to watching psychological thriller, you may still be surprised as I was since what I had envisioned was not exactly what ended up happening. The only real lack I found was in the acting but, to be fair, the four child actors are young so it s excusable. In my experience, it was not bad enough that the watcher is cast out of the movie. To sum it up, if you like psychological thrillers and are not against some fantasy, it's a very enjoyable watch!

Les Enfants Perdus (or The Lost Children for the English title) is a Belgian fantasy/thriller/drama. Belgium is my home country and although it's a small country they manage to make good movies every now and then with mostly very small budgets. This one isn't the greatest movie from Belgium but it's watchable if you don't mind some fantasy and a psychological thriller. The only other reviewer yet didn't really like the acting but I thought this was the best thing about Les Enfants Perdus. Considering their really young age I found their acting very convincing and not bad at all. As for the horror it's very mild if not existing at all. In short, it's worth a watch if you don't have too high of expectations.
