Avis à la une
After tasting a disastrous flop of 'Shock' , the director Harish Shankar never stepped back , came with a nice movie titled 'Mirapakay' and got a hit.! Then again , he was even more lucky to make a movie with Pawan Kalyan and got a hit too.! But now , apart from 'Gabbar Singh' , his previous works were all screenplay based gripping thrillers. But this flick is not of that genre. Harish tried his level best to showcase Jr NTR in the youngster look and was successful in doing so. But showing some one like that isn't enough for a movie to be a hit. It needs a story and a nice screenplay too. But , I think Harish just missed that small logic and started to concentrate too much on Tiger's look and style than the movie itself , leading to a very dry and unfinished product. The major flaw I found is with the "PROPER" introduction of characters , where Samantha's name is not known till some time in First- Half before the Intermission. And nobody even knows what NTR character's name is , except for his nickname being 'Ram'.! The dances were not of NTR's Trademark style. The music was not at all an asset. And when it comes to BGM , I'd say better forget about it.! NTR maintained his energy and sense of humor all through the First-Half whereas his dark side unfolds in the next half. Samantha was as usual , gorgeous and attractive as a show-piece is. When it comes to Shruti Hassan , It was a blunder by Harish to select her for this role , not at all apt. And upon that , Shruthi giving her own voice for her character , unbearable.! Apart from the strong One-Liners and a nice First-Half , the movie turns out a not up-to-mark entertainer. And once again our Young Tiger fails to prove himself to be a 'Multiplex Hero' as well as 'A Woman's Man'. Too much of blood-shed , not at all recommended for children. Only hard- core NTR fans will like the movie.

The first half is a complete remake of Punjabi movie "Tera Mera Ki Rishta" released in 2009 with Amrik Gill as the writer. They have made some changes to the second half. Overall the movie was too predictable, acting was OK, only the song with Prabhudeva had a good dance steps, the rest were just OK. Cinematography was good. Both Naseer and Zakir Hussain were wasted, they are such good actors but were miscast. Girish's role was done by Jimmy Sheirgill, Shruti Hassan's by Kulraj Randhawa, Randhir Kapoor's by Anupam Kher, Poonam Dhillon's by Archana Puran Singh, Sonu Sood's by Raj Babbar (who played the girl's father instead of brother) in the original Punjabi movie It would have been better if they had acknowledged that this is inspired from the Punjabi movie "Tera Mera Ki Rishta"
Saw this movie after watching Devara. This movie is the best example of how movies once were in Telugu industry. No respect for women, Villains flying into air , Paper-thin plot line and not-so-skilled co-actors. Honestly, if the film falls into the category of films because of NTR and no one else has anything to add to the film. The director thought the audience has no brains and has full of patience and then started narrating the story to the Hero. Although I must say few scenes like the NTR's monologue and Rao Ramesh's character was what made this film a film or this would have easily been the accidental video with non-sensical action. I don't even know why I have given this film 4 stars. It deserves very less than that.
The Movie directed by Harish Shankar is ok ok movie. 1st half is decently made , though it is entertaining. It became gradually over the top.
The interval bang is Good.
BUT the second half is complete Rod.90 mm rod.🤣🤣. He made it into typical revenge movie.
Now coming to performances: Jr. NTR does good job in acting, emoting as well as in comedy.
Samantha is not up to mark except for songs.
Shruti Hassan shines in her small role.
Villain Ravi Shankar did great job as antagonist
Rest cast were decent in their roles.
Technical aspects: Direction could be better Music is not so good but not bad at all.
Bgm is terrific but repetitive.
Over all one time watchable movie.
