If you're a fan of Soderbergh's SCHIZOPOLIS and other comedies of the absurd, this invigorating blast of smartly done idiocy will very much be your jam. Dopey conversations with circular logic and grownups acting like doofuses intertwine with deadpan non sequiturs, gratuitous Illinois in-jokes, and clever visual gags. After seeing this film you'll definitely (a) crave Wild Cherry Pepsi and (b) have the jingle for Big Red gum stuck in your head. The whole cast is on point but extra props to Elizabeth Stam as an "amnesia and partial amnesia" expert. I, for one, eagerly await the "film within a film" IT CAME IN THE MAIL.
