The first virtue - the admirable performance of Di Addams as a middle age lady , in womb of delicate situation, looking for save apparences in phone conversation with an old friend.

A simple story, embroidery of nuances and feelings, a glass of wine as only support and two men prepaired to move her stuffs.

A monologue as conversation with audience , because the life of Eloise has some simmilar parts with the existences of part of us, the good - noble premises, opportunities easy ignored, self pity, crumbs of bovarysm are more than familiar.

And, in essence this makes special Still Life . The impressive details - the glass of wine, the vase with white flowers.
