Avis à la une
Greetings from Lithuania.
Strange or not, i really enjoyed the first "A Haunted House" movie, it was a really funny stuff. Sadly, the second one is a huge disappointment comparing to a first one. The script is so poor and unfunny, that you can think that this was written in two days, it's nearly awful, what a shame. I know it's a parody and has to be stupid, but it has to be fun and stupid, there are great parodies, but this one is a very poor, unfunny mess. They couldn't even make fun out of one of my favorite horror movies in years "Sinister" - everything in "A Haunted House 2" is lame, unfunny (except for one Mexican stereotype joke), horribly acted and simply stupid beyond recognition and fun.
Overall, even if you are hardcore parodies fan, you can safely skip this one, it's a bad one.

Typical wayans spoof movie... best to watch with some alc..... but always enjoyable
This is such a misunderstood film. I found it to be really funny. I can see why a lot of people do not get the humor in this film but for the people that does you will find a lot of laughs... especially Marlon's solo work with just the doll in the scenes... for example the argument that he gets into with the doll is really funny because it is so real... it is the exact same argument and the same stages of an argument that most men and women have been through. I do not understand how so many people call this film unwatchable... I know that my sense of humor is dark and I find a lot of things funny that your average person does not but I love scary movie 1 and 2 , love films like superbad or spaceballs... and I can see that this film isnt a classic like those but it still has some very funny material and I respect Marlon as a comedian more and more with every film of his I see.
I didn't want to give 7/10, but 6/10. The main reason is because most people didn't quite appreciate this movie.
This is just another form of comedy (such as "meet the spartans") which "most" people don't want to understand. The kind of movie where you spoil everything, really everything and it turns out to be really hilarious!
You can't go to the cinema and watch this film and expect nice little laughs like other typical Hollywood comedies. This is totally different.
Compared to the previous episode, well many similar sequences. Won't place spoilers, but quite repeating. Still very funny.
The main actor did a wonderful job at making this movie really funny.
The cast consists of more or less same people from the 1st episode.
Contains plenty of swearing, racial words, very direct interracial swearing, some nudity, violence.
Mixed up parody of several movies together, all bundles into having a good time laughing. Never had such a laugh with typical Hollywood comedy.
If you didn't laugh at the beginning of this movie, well, don't continue, you won't like it. But if you had a laugh, then just don't blink :D
Cheers, an absolute must-watch when u want some good laughs.

There's no doubt the Wayans are funny. Marlon Wayans does a great job carrying this hard-driving sequel. In a similar style as Jim Varney narrating the Ernest films, breaking the fourth wall, the entire then -current crop of horror films (Paranormal Activity, The Conjuring, Annabelle) are lampooned to infinity to mostly good results. The cast does fine, and Gabriel Inglasias and Cedric the Entertainer ads strong comedic support. Largely, however, this is a one man show. This is far-out, "wow, did he really go that far?" type of humor that's falling out of favor in the woke era. Happily, the results are pretty good, but the show runs out of steam (and ideas) before the credits roll. It's a pretty good time, with expectations in check.

- AnecdotesPierre Daniel, who had a brief role in the film sued Marlon Wayans for racial harassment. This was after Wayans posted a side by side photo comparing him to Cleveland Brown from Les Griffin (1999). The case was thrown out after the judge pointed out Daniel does in fact look like Cleveland Brown.
- Gaffes(at around 51 mins) When Malcolm is trying to tell Megan and her kids about the ghosts and demon possessions, Becky is shown recording him with her cell phone. When the camera is in front of Megan you see the cell phone. But when the camera angle changes to looking over her shoulder at Malcolm, the cell phone disappears.
