Avis à la une
I will start with saying, the only reason this is 3 stars instead of 1 is purely down to the actors. The story line was dull, predictable and what has become in my opinion "typical Tyler Perry".
He should have quit writing years ago, yet he continues to whip up something quick, without care or consideration and ends up butchering everything for the sake of making a few bucks. No care for the actors and complete disregard towards the viewers experience.
I think it is time he stopped putting his name in the titles as people are just going to avoid the films, or go into it with a negative bias, simply for that from now on.

It's almost so bad it's good. Believe me, even the opening 5 minutes will give you an idea of the hilariously bad the direction of the movie is going. I'll go ahead and call it the "Church" scene. Overacting, bad acting and unusual acting methods from vetted actors. I know Tyler Perry movies... can produce some inconsistent results and performances. The over acting feels like theater, and its script is unrealistic and not relatable. The amount of swearing, screaming and random outbursts of verbal conflicts is every 5 minutes in this movie. But the camera work is definitely is insanely good. So there's that. That's why I have it a '2' and not '1'.
The two stars are for the actors. We are so desperate to see black films that we keep watching Tyler Perry movies knowing the writing will be terrible. This one was terrible! He doesn't care the networks don't care we just have to stop watching and giving his movies viewership. I'm done the gimmick is over for me. No more Tyler Perry movies. It seems like he put a bunch of lifetime movies together to make one bad movie. The funeral scene was stupid. There was no plot building and the bad family seemed like a family from the 70's. I don't normally review movies only if it's really great or really bad. He just needs to stop.
Everyone was a fool in this movie.
Highly unrealistically dramatic. Everyone acting a fool including the "godly" folks encouraging the daughter to date, flirt, whatever while still married.
What a shiz show. I got so irritated with the silly script had to stop 2/3 of the way through.
Definitely not even close to Tyler Perry's other movies. Some better than others but all have been watchable for me.
Started out like a Jerry Springer episode. Was way overly acted to the point where you couldn't take it seriously. I figured I could at least enjoy the humor. Nope.
It got too annoying. Like those horror movie commercials where dumb victims hide amidst all the deadly weapons that can kill them. Just no.

I am convinced Tyler Perry absolutely hates his people and Black women. His writing depicts Black people in the worst light and makes a mockery of our culture while enforcing negative stereotypes for the world to laugh at or along with him. This movie was a waste of time and as much as I want to see the actors and Tyler Perry succeed, this was mediocre writing, acting and directing at best. Megan Goode and Debbie Morgan were the highlights (I fell in love with the both of them in Eve's Bayou) and still could not save the movie from his terrible writing. This movie is best described as a mix of Sistas meets Real Housewives of Atlanta which both are garbage.
