Grown adults seem very bothered by a toddler show

My 3 year old loves it. The music is tolerable and the animation is actually impressively rendered with lots of textures and a nice stop motion aesthetic.

The episodes are short (2 minutes) so my only qualm is on Disney plus it is not strung together as one longer program but as many individual episodes. The theme song / credit interludes get tedious.

I was astonished to find so many angry reviews from *ahem* adults complaining about a toddler snow. It "Ruined" Pooh Bear!? Pu-lease. Not every program will be tailored to you and I'm sure there will be more Pooh Bear in the future that fits the "classic" vibe you seem to be pining for. To see so many of these aggressive reviews from adults on a show aimed at kids...pathetic.

    Great show/Too Short

It seems ALL of the negative reviews are comparing this to older Pooh projects. You can't. This is something different. This is directed at toddlers, and for that this is as good as it gets. Lessons are great. The art is unique. The voice actors are actual kids, which always connect with kids more than adults pretending to be kids.

My only (yes, only) complaint is that the episodes are far too short. Not sure what their reasoning there is, but if these were even 5 minutes it would be better! But full 11 minutes would be great. If this was longer I'd give it 10/10 for sure! But where it stands, 8/10 will have to stay.

    Cocomelonification won't stop

We got backyardigans, Dora, Barney, and now Winnie the Pooh. Just stop. These awful redesigns that took inspiration from Cocomelon are soulless with no heart and make kids act up, it's unhealthy like eating McDonald's fats, sodium, and sugar for the kids like Cocomelon. Not good because these redesigns have child versions and unfaithful versions of these beloved characters modernized for this new generation. For example: Winnie the Pooh looks ugly and wears a hoodie. Wouldn't be suprised if they throw in an episode of the characters using phones or doing stuff. Look at the redesigns of pac man, Sonic, and mega man during the 2010s. Notice how pac man and mega man looked ugly and their ratings fell down because fans didn't like the redesigns. Not saying we should pull the Sonic card but these redesigns are awful for kids shows and sound nothing like Jim Cummings or whoever voiced them. Kids deserve better and not this junk.

Something big turned out into a flop

I don't care what anyone says about this show. You may think that sounds like I am defending it. But I am clearly against this garbage. This show belongs in the Cocomelon bin with kids who were born around 2021. You were an amazing person to know that Winnie the Pooh's old series were one million times better. Like, how do you feel about Jim Cummings and piglet's VA. They probably are upset because they won't be in the spotlight for a lonnng time. I feel bad that kids and redesigns are ruining Winnie the Pooh, and even affecting the entire franchise. Look at the analysis, all the old Pooh series ( except that creepy Pooh corner) were highly rated and loved by Disney fans and practically anyone of all ages. My friends tigger and Pooh, that's a comedy/mystery for sleuthin!, Book of Pooh is a great series that is nostalgic and you could never get bored of watching! The new adventures is basically anything perfect. And then there's this show.

    My daughter loves it!

I've personally never watched Winnie the Pooh growing up because I could never get into it. My SO did though and even then I feel we enjoy it more than our little one :) I feel it teaches some pretty good lessons fairly quickly, such as conquering fears or having to calm down before doing a certain task (at least that's what I gathered from them and what I've been teaching my girl). I just wish they were a bit longer and had a thicker plot but other than that I think it's a really cute art style and a pretty good way to keep the younger gens. Interested in things from our pasts. We're all looking forward to the newest episodes as the songs are fairly catchy :)

As well as with Il était une fois un studio (2023) (which uses archived recordings from the original voice actors for Winnie the Pooh characters), this will be the first Disney production since Les aventures de Winnie l'ourson (1983) and Winnie l'ourson : Je t'aime toi ! (1999) respectively where Winnie the Pooh and Tigger are voiced by someone other than Jim Cummings.
