Oh My God... Yes! A Series of Extremely Relatable Circumstances

My take as a woman in her 20s: It tries to be funny and relatable but it's only relatable if you're someone who blames their problems on other people, is selfish, is a bad friend, and has no aspirations in life.

The characters all do just that. They are toxic, and go around thinking only about themselves. They even comment on this and make jokes about it. They are all unhealthy because they have self-defeating attitudes and do nothing to help themselves or improve.

Sick of seeing stuff that normalizes this behavior.

The women with purple hair and blue hair are cute, but that's all that's good about this show. It's poorly written and forgettable. Someone else listed it as cringey, perfect description.

The art direction is neat and I found it funny. Xosha Roquemore's performance as Ladi in particular is really good imo. If you like the fast pace and snappy writing of Tuca and Bertie or Teenage Euthanasia you will probably also enjoy OMG Yes!

Watch the pilot first though, I watched episode 1 blind and felt a little lost because the characters and world are not re-introduced. But OMG Yes! Is not the first show to do that either, that seems more common now that animated pilots tend to be just uploaded to YouTube.

There have only been 3 episodes so far but I think it's a good fit for Adult Swim. I look forward to the rest.

I just watched the first four episodes in a row and my only complaint is that they aren't long enough! There are plenty of female led animated series that exist. I love Yolo and was a fan of Tuca and Bertie. But there is something about OMG YES! That gives me just the right about of absolute stupid mixed with oddly genius that I've been craving! Sunny isn't likable and that's what I LOVE about her. She isn't trying to be! It's refreshing to see a female protagonist have a devil-may-care attitude. Ladi and Tulip add a great balance to her chaos. If all three were harsh, the show might be a bit difficult to stomach. But Tulips sweetness and Ladi's intelligence/action based way of moving about the world strikes a great balance. Some of the dialogue is a bit hard to understand so I would recommend using subtitles if your'e hearing isn't A-1 like mine. Otherwise, kickback and try to relax watching this wild show. You might be laughing to hard to do the latter.

This is not worth it...at all. It's not even in the "so bad it's good" tier, it's unfunny, cringe-inducing and the animation and art look like a low-budget Mr. Pickles. Let me repeat that. "Low budget Mr. Pickles". The characters are unlikeable and the dialogue was written in less than 10 minutes while drunk on a rollercoaster, the only star this has is because the voice actresses did an acceptable job withe the trainwreck they were fiven. If you like good shows, don't watch this, if you like watching bad shows to laugh at them, don't watch it.

This show should be watched as a challenge, not entertainment.

Couldn't stomach the animation style long enough to follow the randomness. The visuals were so jarring, overwhelming, and disorienting that I couldn't focus on a single other than the vibrant hair choices.

It felt like a constant barrage of chaos that only made my head spin, making it nearly impossible to connect with any aspect of the show. I tried to push through, but the animation style alone was enough to make me want to turn it off.

Attempted to get inebriated, thinking maybe some altered state of mind would help me find a way to enjoy this, but that didn't work either. The visuals, the pacing, the randomness-it all just kept hitting me in ways that was lowering IQ.

Thought maybe I'd try getting zooted to shift my perspective, but nope, that didn't change a thing either. It was just as painful to watch in that state.

The chaos was unbearable, and it was clear that this wasn't going to work for me in any scenario. If you genuinely find this funny and entertaining, you are rebarded*, but honestly, I just can't see how. I honestly wish I could understand the appeal, but after trying to enjoy it in various states of mind, idk.
