After the puja, Saraswatichandra goes to his father Laxminandan Vyas' birthday party. Laxminandan announces that Saraswatichandra has decided to get married. This makes Saraswatichandra's step mother Ghuman unhappy. Meanwhile, Kumud's family tells her about Saraswatichandra's marriage proposal.

Laxminandan is angry when Saraswatichandra refuses to marry Kumud. Meanwhile, Kumud's father shows her a photo of Saraswatichandra. She only gets to see his eyes and starts to like him. Ghuman begins to plot against Saraswatichandra.

Saraswatichandra writes a letter to Kumud without telling his father. Ghuman receives the receipt of his letter, but hides it from Laxminandan. Kusum and Kumud talk about Saraswatichandra. Kusum tells Kumud that she will get her dream man.

Kumud is depressed after reading Saraswatichandra's letter. Ghuman, however, is happy with Saraswatichandra's decision. Vidyachatur asks Kumud to get ready for a video chat with Saraswatichandra. Laxminandan tries to convince his son to agree to the marriage. Will he succeed?

Kumud, along with her family, has a video chat with Saraswatichandra. Everyone sees Saraswatichandra but Kumud cannot see his face and refuses to show her face either. She tells him that he has insulted her family and challenges him to reject her in front of them.

Saraswatichandra plans to build a wing for needy children in a hotel, but Laxminandan disapproves. Kumud's mother tells her that she has read Saraswatichandra's letter. Saraswatichandra goes to Kumud's house in India and is introduced to everyone by Vidyachatur.

Kumud's mother tells her to vacate her room. She removes her photos from the room so that Saraswatichandra cannot see her. Meanwhile, Vidyachatur tells Saraswatichandra that he is happy with the marriage proposal. Why does Kumud send Kusum in her place to serve tea to Saraswatichandra?

Kumud sneaks into Saraswatichandra's room and sees him. She tells him to convey his decision to her father and leave her house. The next day, Saraswatichandra tours the village. He sees a kid drowning in the temple pond and saves him. So, why are the villagers angry with him?

Saraswatichandra learns that Kumud had agreed to marry him after seeing only his eyes. He asks her if she is hurt. Ghuman does not know that Saraswatichandra is in India. Vidyachatur gets caught in a fire and Saraswatichandra saves him. Will this bring Kumud and Saraswatichandra closer?

Saraswatichandra gives first aid to Vidyachatur. The doctor arrives and confirms that Vidyachatur is fine. Everyone praises Saraswatichandra for saving him. He hesitates to tell Vidyachatur about his decision. Later, Kumud sneaks out of the house at dawn to meet someone.
