Avis à la une
So this film is very very confusing. It is essentially 100 trailers to 100 completely different sci-fi films to horror and all between. A story never unfolds, every clip lasts about 5 minutes. Some are ridiculously weird and overall it was a complete waste of time just like reading a kafka story for example. The serial killer robot was hilarious. Seriously, he was trying to be all serious explaining how a serial robot was accidentally created - haha that should be checked out by any sci-fi buff. Although only a 5 minute segment, that clip had potential to be the next chucky franchise. The rest, although a lot of money had been spent on the sets, costumes and special effects they are just a random mash of nonsense. Still I sat through it scratching my head through but I have to admit I was never bored or tempted to turn it off.
Wow what a stinking pile of shizzz this was....
1 star for special effects is the only positive reaction to this.
The misleading premise that this is a cohesive film is incredibly irritating from the beginning. If there were actual stories that lead to anything interesting i'd call them stories but they are meaningless, mindless crap attempts at sci fi in a short form.
How many? 7 of them I think, most of them seem to attempt to join together as one cliche to the next.
When I got through the first one I was wondering what is going on? Like... umm... is this movie going to just keep introducing new characters and not build or lead to anything? It seemed exhausting getting through the first short without receiving some kind of cash reward from the filmmakers.
Sci Fi is such an amazing genre and this abuse seems to continue with amateur filmmakers.
With a budget this big somebody should have known at some stage that this film is a waste of time to make.
For me it would have been seeing the screenplay is essentially blank pages, no substance at all.

In short: frustrating collection of pedestrian pseudo scifi shorts that will leave you feeling conned into watching.
Commendable effort for the most part, given that these are all obvious extremely low-budget.
But the end result is a very, very, very lacking patchwork of unintelligible crap.
The gimmick of having "The Boy" film cut into snippets used as interludes between the other shorts was a clever way to fool some viewers into thinking that this was actually a full-length feature, but it only ends up multiplying the frustration you feel at the end, because there is no relationship whatsoever between the different films.
The shorts themselves look like school projects. And not very good ones at that. There is no plot to be found here anywhere. And there is no purpose or pathos to any one of the shorts. This is not movie-making, it's just mimicking of worn-out scifi tropes.

This is not a movie, but rather half a dozen short stories with little link to each other except "dystopian future."
The shorts themselves are done pretty well for the most part, but with the expectation that this is a movie, you'll be looking for a coherent connection between the different scenes. There really isn't one, and even the (presumed) connecting story interspersed between the other ones never goes anywhere.
The sets and acting are actually good, as well as the special effects. The sound was all over the place, requiring drastic changes on my television to keep up with it in different shorts. The music was uninspired, and mimicked the Blade Runner aesthetic which also was also blatantly ripped off as a setting for one of the shorts.
Would have rated this higher if the summary had been honest. But then I probably wouldn't have watched it anyhow.

IMOP this script had an awesome possibility. The actors were vg. Not sure what happened in on the editing or financial chopping block of budget, but again IMOP, this could have been awesome. I am a sci-fi fan, and this movie had several ways to be the new "Train to Busan".
Not sure what happened.
The script was split, but the actresses and actors were on point!
There was so much possibility from this film. The film was very good. However, the script as filmed seems " confused".
The lighting, vg, costumes, vg.
The bottom line is there were not the story, edited and shown in a smooth way.
The thief? The demons? The kid? No cohesive info in the film. Where there absolutely COULD have been.
Sad.
