We have the same old tropes. The bad guy is taken down so many times but rather than making sure that he is down for good, characters try to run.

The killer is definitely inspired by Jigsaw. His modus operandi of killing people via traps is such a copycat.

It cud have been a good horror movie but the stupid decisions done repeatedly by the stupid characters ruined it.

Also never take refuge in a place which doesn't have other means of exit.

One character detects the clear cut of the hose but he never suspects anything foul.

And the most wtf moment is whose two bodies were buried in the cemetery if both the parents were alive?

... Schlitter? Well no pun intended - also if you like Horror movies with a fair amount of violence and on screen brutality ... well you could do worse. I am surprised to read this being a movie made for TV. Then again, if Americans can make great stuff for TV ... why not France? Although the US stuff is usually pay tv and mostly shows of course.

So while you should not expect the high standard and/or quality, anyone with a heart for horror movies should and can take a look into this. The effects are well made and the movie does not shy away of the carnage that does unfold at times as I already stated. The characters are ... well I reckon it could have done with a bit of a better script. But it's enough for a one time watch for sure.

I have always loved French horror films, because of the lack of budget and the result of this: a total freedom in the making, without a f...producer always looking over your shoulder, or a cool producer, not a Hollywood like one. This one makes no exception to the rule. The young director comes from the short feature business, as so many other horror film makers, and I really hope he will continue in this direction, but this time the long length. The script, acting and directing skills are purely awesome for such a first long length feature for the director. I don't undertsand the bad reviews on the French websites. It's just a shame that this excellent film is not more widely known.
