I loved it. The show itself isn't the most realistic, intellectual nor well-written show, I must admit, I expected better comedy writing from Ahmed Atef since his posts are often hilarious, so I felt like he was playing it safe with this one? I only laughed out loud maybe once or twice but it still does what it aims to do and it's a light fun show with the right amount of interesting drama events to carry it so I throughly enjoyed it and it's totally worth watching.

First time watching Essam Omar as a leading actor and he's really talented. He seems like a young "Ahmed Helmy" in the making. Can't wait to see what he does next. The supporting characters were also very well-casted. I like the fact that they didn't cast big names and the show still made it on its own because all cast are brilliant and played their characters really well. The styling and makeup team also did a great job and all characters looked pretty relatable which is somewhat rare to see in Egyptian shows nowadays.

I watched the presentation of the first two episodes of the "Balto" series, based on Ahmed Atef Fayyad's novel "Balto Wafa Nella Watab." It was a great success, captivating audiences and sparking conversations across Egypt. What made it so impactful was its simplicity, which turned out to be its strongest weapon.

The series follows Atef, a medical student who is assigned to a health unit in the village of Warsoukh Al-Lif after an accident. Through a simple comic style, we see Atef's life unfold, from his reasons for pursuing medicine to his daily struggles in the village.

The screenplay and dialogue, although at times unclear, gradually reveal more about Atef's character and motivations. The financial struggles he faces are also portrayed convincingly, making the series relatable and grounded in reality.

The performances of the actors, especially Mohamed Mahmoud Al-Jundi, who plays Atef, are outstanding. Al-Jundi brings his character to life with subtlety and humor, making him a standout addition to the series.

Overall, the "Balto" series is a remarkable achievement in Egyptian drama, with its simplicity and relatability being its greatest strengths. The soundtrack, composed by Muhammad Abu Zekry, also adds to the show's emotional impact. Despite some directing errors, it's a must-watch for anyone looking for a heartfelt and entertaining series.

Egyptian comedy has been backwarding since a long time with the body shaming jokes that are found in nearly all comedies thinking they are still making people laugh or joking about people with Articulation disorder as some sort of joke of course not forgetting the eastern belly dancer in all the movies and it has been the for nearly the past 10 years and the studios still think they are funny but this series "balto" broke the curse finally making a light comedy series that makes people really laugh not just some sort of cheap jokes and i really congratulate ahmed atef and i reaf most of his books that are hilarious really for this perfect comedy series with a new idea in a long time.

As the life runs through " 3atef " the newly graduate doc ,we see how hard he has gone through just so that his father could be satisfied But the crisis doesn't stop here, Finally when he thought he'd be less stressed after graduation, his residency place happened to be very far from his hometown and that's where things get interesting .

He tries his best to escape from his reality little did he know it's where gonna change who he is....

If I want to talk about the series "balto" gotta be this" great comedy, great story and well written script 👏🏼👏🏼" They had me from ep1 to 10 , i never got bored , really enjoyed every second of it and really touched my heart Every one in the series did amazing. I liked how dr.hajar conversation with dr 3atef and how strong and thoughtful she was ,vey cute friends And how 3atef had us with his authentic feelings ,vey emotional 😭 Last words , really hope everyone Watch it because it has alot of meaning especially to us the young adults.
