Avis à la une
It has been years since the Domonico debacle the evil satanist cultist marriage counselor who terrorized couples searching for help now with the house being abandon a sleazy no talent filmmaker trying to save his career decides to move in with his cast of terrible actors and crew to make a horror film only problem an evil sentient homicidal turkey puppet from the depths of hell is here to turn their indie movie star fantasies into plucking nightmare.
Again, this is a film with a fun premise and idea that is wasted. Much with the brand of slapping the Amityville title on this film feels like that lazily slapped together with minimum effort and low brow crass humor that never raises from farts and D! CKS. It is terrible meta indie movie comedy about making a terrible horror movie that so happens to be a killer turkey killing off the cast one by one and not all that thrilling.
This film is a knock of THANKSKILLING if anything this make Thankskilling even better it highlights how wrong Thankskilling could have been. I will defend Thankskilling that is a hill I will die on.

This is definitely questionable. Confusing sequel that serves quite an unoriginal concept of horror. Hard to follow sometimes and not many likeable characters. Will Collazo and Julie Anne Prescott's Amityville Turkey Day is basically a comedy, tracing the themes of things like Thankskilling which kinda just makes us want to watch that instead as it was done first. This is Collazo's best work which is really saying something that I'm giving this a 4. Puppet turkey was great mind you and I appreciate the effort being made into this. Sometimes the camera work lacks a bit and looks amateur most times.
An Indie film is being shot in the former home of Frank Domonico during the Thanksgiving holiday. As the crew and actors show up, they begin to disappear one by one. This film is an "Amityville" film in name only. It mixes horror and humor. Frank Jr needs to "spill his seed" before Thanksgiving is over to avoid returning to Hell.
At 94 minutes this film runs a little bit too long. There are some pretty good moments and some good laughs, especially from the Turkey! If they would have cut this down to 70-75 minutes this would have been a better film. The film does have its moments. It just starts to drag towards the middle of the film.
I enjoyed the one liners from the Turkey and the overall film, hence the 5/10 rating. It's an interesting and fun concept, but it goes on a little too long.

This highly anticipated and much desired sequel to AMITYVILLE THANKSGIVING has a group of filmmakers going into the cursed home to shoot a movie when a killer turkey shows up.
When I watched AMITYVILLE THANKSIGIVING, I said that the title was great enough for me to invest my $4 into renting it but then the actual film was a major letdown because not much happened. Well, that's pretty much what happens in this sequel, although this here runs a lot longer and has even less going on!
I really found this film hard to get through and I found it to be really annoying. There were just way too many scenes that dragged on for no reason and a lot of times it just seemed like the actors were trying to make up the dialogue as they went along. The foul-mouthed turkey was a nice touch but after a while he too got to be annoying.

"Amityville Turkey Day" is difficult to gobble up. In fact, it is much like having to go to your great Aunt's house for a third Thanksgiving dinner of the day, the one that is the family's black sheep, wears a muumuu, and her house smells like cheap cigarettes and cat dandruff.
Amityville Turkey Day" mirrors every ounce of that last sentiment with a shoddy, low rent feature that not only drags the Amityville title deeper into the overkill mud but also hurts the exposure of Jordan Downey's "Thankskilling" to those viewers who do get their unsuspecting hands onto Collazo's film first and leaves a residual bad taste toward more competent Turkey trot terrorizers.
That bitterness is contributed by the lack of story structure and coherency, a lost sense of unique personality and entertainment, and a brutal monotone flow that stagnates upon just one setting over the course of a few days, which is a major gap considering the film crew disappearing here and there during that time and no one happens to care or even hardly notice.
