It's a new movie and i did not expect that, they direct this movie in a superb way. The movie went beyond my expectations. All the roles in this movie are superb. It's a family entertainment movie. The comedy was superb. I enjoyed a lot and I liked Pavan's role in this movie, and also I liked the comedy line of Sampoddhu, Sampoddhu in telugu but the North police think that, he is Sampath, Sampath is a policeman who deviate for few minutes and there on comedy starts. The movie is all about naxals and their life. Central government introduce a scheme to reduce problems of naxals. Go and watch and have fun with family.

Rebels of Thupakulagudem- In nutshell, an honest attempt of venturing into action comedy with a dash of naxal flavour, by the first time writer director Jaideep Vishnu & Santhosh Murarikar. Though it appears to be a low budget, small movie, the vision of the makers comes across undoubtedly grand & larger than life through the introduction scenes in the movie, be it the aerial view of deep forests, introduction of the protagonist, the antagonist & the political disturbances. Kumar, as a storyteller, introduces the audience to the village of thupakulagudem, his friends & love interest navigating through the burning issues in the village and he does that effortlessly. From here on, the entire narrative revolves around the execution of certain scam with innocent village folks being part of it. Generally any scam is narrated in a movie with the elements of suspense, action & seriousness. But for the first time, audience is going to see a scam story with a humorous & comical narrative till the climax. That's the creative call by the makers & I think it's worth it. There is never a dull moment and audience is going to experience a roller-coaster ride of laughter. Protagonist Rajanna's character is like a slow- poison. There is certain mystery around him and audience will not have any clue why is he doing certain things certain way until the end part of second half. The character arc of Rajanna has been designed in such tricky way that its difficult to connect with him at the start but towards the end, it feels like he is one amongst us. The humanness & the emotions burst out in high dose during the climax scenes.

Antagonist character is played by Shivaram Reddy. Acting is top notch and of another level.

While there are so many layers unravelling and lots of back and forth story telling at different points, quirky and fun sequences by kumar & his village friends kept me engaged & hooked throughout the movie.

Visuals of deep forests and the village appear to be very naturally shot & looks raw yet very promising. Mani Sharma Sir's music is cherry on the cake and a plus point for the movie.

Final verdict : if you are watching this with a perception that it's a small scale movie , it's going to boggle your mind and surprise you with its meaty content & creativity. Though low on budget, the movie is high on content, comedy & creativity. Do watch it in your nearest theatres.

Every aspect of the film is awesome. Story Direction or anything you can imagine the film out stands everything. Manisharma Music is the backbone of this film. Please encourage and support this new talent whole heartedly. I am feeling good and sad to be the first reviewer on IMDB. It's an out and out family entertainer. Can't explain better than this. Feeling fortunate to have watched this film. Please do Watch and encourage new talent. Looks like a team effort and need to be appreciated by everyone. I would like to watch it once again in theatres and would recommend everyone to watch it in theatres only.

Almost majority of the movie was shot in forest. I saw this film in my native village eturunagaram.

Hillarious comedy scenes in the second half

Screenplay writing and SOUND DESIGN is the major backbone for the film is what I can say Tremendous job done by the entire team Didn't get the feel that I am watching a new commer film very matured direction and taking.

Wish the entire team all the best for their hard work and excellent screenplay every scene is planned very Intelligently to suit as per the situation

In OTT it should be a major hit. Requesting everyone to support these new age film makers.

I can see this is the bestest story telling. Would like to encourage this new team. There were few lags but didn't point out because they were essential to the story to move ahead. Director has a clear vision and with that clear vision he was able to communicate clearly with the audiences.

Pretty much everything was perfectly scripted and had not seen such a thought bonded script before. Should have been reached to more people and can see they were failed in that. This scale of subject by a new team I cannot imagine how painful it could be to arrange everything. I can see the entire cast and crew hard work on screen. Amazing locations and need to be watched in theatres only for the visual feast.
