The horror genre in India is mostly horror comedy or an emotional sob-story that the ghost was somehow wronged in the past and is waiting to exact revenge. Almost all 'horror' movies have to have a 'hero' who saves the day, and it's OK if the plot takes a backseat. No issues with this, but it's been overdone and badly so. Only a handful of movies have had something original and, very rarely, do you get a film in which 'Evil is just evil. No reason needed.' Very rarely.

A story that you may not have seen in other movies before, with the plot taking center stage. I didn't know anything about the actors, so to me, it felt like they were regular-day people, and I wonder if that helped the plot hit better because a regular-day guy in the plot is the 'evil' and you really feel what the family feels - "Him!? Why us? Why's he randomly doing this? He was just a regular guy."

Awesome unique plot, followed by some phenomenal acting by Janki Bodiwala as the girl possessed and by the Evil (not as menacing but did what was required) and the supporting cast. The family characters are written well enough that you care for them and flinch every time they're hurt in the film. Acting overall by everybody - great job!

The production value nothing mind-blowing, but good. Sound design, nothing mind-blowing, but good. In fact, you'd expect horror films to dial up the sound to build the intensity and I don't remember that in Vash. The silence added to the creeps The screenplay wins in this film - the story, the characters, the ending, everything written just enough to drive the plot. No nonsense.

Acting was exceptionally great. Janki Bodiwala has come with a unique role and nailed it. Background music was excellent. Small detailings are mentioned well.

This is one of a kind in Gujarati cinema. This is beginning of such horror thriller in Gujarati movie industry. Director Krishnadev yagnik has mentioned small details fabulously. Horror thriller has its own audience and it keeps creating new audience. May this movie do the same and we can see more in this genre in Gujarati. Youth who loves unique movies, movie lovers who wants to see new things should watch it and bring others as well.

Recently Guj Cinema has given various thought provoking films and some socially bold attempts also. Mr. K Y enters Suspense, Thrill, Abanded kidnap kind, drug induced hypnotism on wrong path and GORE zone. He did splendid things just after interval some lengthy slow screen play takes time in re gripping but still he has some thing more in store so rightly bounces back. Modern Gujarati family with their choices rightly ecohes the culture. We have Hiten Kumar a new Villan terrific role, wel done. With Hitu K as father. Do not get confused by name similarity. They performed very well to get tied honors. Janki Bodiwala though bare - minimum dialogues but very high level acting wise in all facets of the wonderful main character. Mother o k. It's a Gujarati Movie most likely to be dubbed in many languages including English! Just get going for this film before routine after talks may dilute the suspense thrill.

Story, acting, direction, background music all are at perfect. Just one primary location, four actors still one can make wonderful thriller film. Hence proven that one don't need many locations, costumes, actors, production set, songs, VFX etc.. Just need strong script and perfect acting, direction, cinematography and editing. Hiten Kumar's acting is marvelous. Janki Bodiwala, Hitu Kanodia and Nilam Panchal has also gave their best performance.

Coming to the film it's thriller film which deal with hypnotism. How hypnotism can be so dangerous and life changing and how that family will deal with trap of hypnotism. I won't reveal the rest.. Go and watch this masterpiece.

I can't take my eyes off the screen for a single second while watching krishnadev yagnik starer "VASH".

VASH is start to end gripping movie..and It is successful in presenting the social awareness through this movie...!! Story, screenplay, direction, writing all were of A-one quality in the movie..!

Performance of all lead actors like Janki Bodiwala, Hiten Kumar were top level..and matching according to the requirement of the script. Movie was totally unpredictable..and when movie was approaching towards climax it was an all time difference experience..!!

If u are from gujarati audience..This movie deserves your attendance in theater..And if u are non gujarati audience and comfortable to watch with subtitles..You should come to watch this movie. It would be your best theatrical experience..!!
