Avis à la une
It was so bad it was almost funny. The actors definitely did their best with the material they were given. The story feels like it was written by a 14 y/o on Wattpad. It's a shame that it wound up being so bad it was almost comical, because the genre had so much potential (think Casper or Ghost). It was clear that the story was written by people that don't interact with millennials/people from gen Z. I'm not sure why it is rated to highly. If you want a comedy to watch ironically this is the place to go, some of the scenes wind up being hilarious because of the 0 sense they make.
Until We Meet Again is written, directed and produced by Pece Dingo. I assume that Pece Dingo intended to create a classic romantic ghost saga in the vain of The Ghost & Mrs. Muir (1947), Ghost (1990), and countless others of this genre. Since Mr. Dingo was the film's writer, director and producer, I assumed that I would be watching a trainwreck of a vanity project. I have to admit I was wrong, it's not a disaster. The film's production values are first-rate. It looks like a product that was intended for theatrical release. The leads are competent in their roles, despite being hindered by a script that gives them with little to nothing to work with. This film's most memorable characters are played by the delightful duo of Leslie Jordan and Antonio Fargas. Those of you who are around my age will recognize Antonio Fargas as Huggy Bear, the most memorable character from the otherwise forgettable TV series Starsky & Hutch (1975-1979). This film would have benefitted greatly from having more scenes with Mr. Jordan and Mr. Fargas. As it stands, overall this film is bland to boring. In the third-act, out of the blue, an unexpected element of suspense occurs. In a well-written script such occurrences are foreshadowed, but that doesn't occur in this film. The evidence suggests that Pece Dingo is better at directing and producing than he is at writing. I'm generously giving this movie a 6 out of 10 rating primarily due to the entertaining efforts of Leslie Jordan and Antonio Fargas. These two gentlemen deserve to be cast in more roles.
The protagonist is a poor actress, her friend is unlikable and the story is unbelievable on every level. I mean the things the ghost can and can't do are absolutely ridiculous. Maybe the whole spice thing is a reference to the creators of this.
Oh and btw, why are people who haven't seen this giving it 10??!! Really not helpful.

I think a ghost eating tacos and drinking 🍺 beer 🚬 smoking cigarettes and drinking Jack Daniels is a dream I would never want to wake up from, especially with Jackson Rathbone! This man is 38 years old in really life and looks like he's 19 😋 The writers of this movie were definitely high so my suggestion is before you watch this movie blow a doobie!
This movie was horrible. Jackson Rathbone seems to have forgotten that he is no longer playing Jasper Cullen and the look of constantly trying not to commit flatulence permeates the entire movie along with his horribly forced attempt at being a posh piano player.... he doesn't pull it off.
The female lead was an overwhelming bore. She provided no spark, no believability nor any semblance of humanity. She was better in the To All the Boys movies... not sure what happened to her.
The story could've been good, but this movie failed miserably. It had no fluidity and jumped quickly and ended abruptly... not to mention ghost sex?? Seriously??? This movie was just awful from start to finish. The ONLY good element was Leslie Jordan.
