I was just hooked to the entire series and can say that it is one of the best webseries ever made. Romance and conspiracy both were brewing aide by side. From camera to dialect dilaogues to direction and performances...everything was spot on. No dull moment or drag aa story keeps taking new turns regular.

By the end of all 10 episodes when you start feeling that you watched a great show...God knows from where the Director and writer turn suddenly into a DCKHD....and set a great example how a great story and wonderful show can be ruined in just 1 minute..and that 1 minute scene comes at the very end..totally unwanted meaningless and just like a nightmare in a run of good dreams.

If you just stop the show at the last shootout scene, thjs entire web series will rule your heart as the best web series of this year so far. But if you move to the end, you will start hating it.

So many great performances, such a solid true story...you feel for it man. Had some good friend of the writer and director suggested them to remove the last 1 minute scene! But nah..naxal sympathetic Mr. Sudhir Mishra like idiot was the show runner who must have ensured such end of otherwise a great web series.

Watch it until last 1 minute, and its among the best web series made ever.

This is something else than what actually happened in jehanabad. I was there when jail break happens and I can say that the romance shown was impossible even now in jehanabad. It was actually ferocious and they made a joke of whole jail break. The jail break part was actually broken and not shown in full context. I think the director and actor should stay in jehanabad for 1 month before planning such nonsense and using name of place. Only real thing is name of place "Jehanabad" and rest all location are fake. Jehanabad series is not near to Mirzapur or Gangs of wasyepur but in actual the status was worse which was not shown. Glorified the naxals which is not good.

Act of mother is near to factual but act of daughter and father is of delhi and mumbai not of jehanabad.

If you are using the name then show the the truth dont morph it.

We seriously laughed at whole series 🤣 (because I belong from jehanabad) and the ending is super worst way to provide suspense.

This show is avoidable.

Jehanabad is so annoying to watch it makes one wonder, who writes these? The only positive behind the series, is its aggressive promotion. Again, it makes no sense, who is spending money on such hopeless projects?

The love story is also cheesy. It saddens me that the cast is actually talented. Harshita Gaur shone here. Ritwik Bhowmik was fine. Satyadeep Misra is the best of the lot.

The real villain perhaps is SEO. These are formula ideas, not very original. The audience can see through it. It is time writers start respecting the audience, and their time.

Very well-written and directed story. I'm in in love with this fantastic series Jehanabad and can't wait to see it again. Given how charming the story is, I find it impossible to forget. It was a total average film. I would say not too good not too bad. The story is completely dragged up still it isn't over. The trailer shows u that the main focus is on the jailbreak but here seems like that a lot of romance had been added. Could have surely avoided the romance. The Director Could Have Easily Wrapped Up The Series In Just 6-7 episodes. I would say a topic nicely picked but had not been executed properly. You can easily go for it if you have nothing left to watch but it's not that type that u have to watch. Season 2 will be phenomenal if it goes the way the audience is thinking.

The way Rajeev Barnwal explains the whole incident actually needs lots of research and hardwork ,and we can see it completely on the screen .The Writing, Concept and Direction is just Brilliant other than this I actually love the Music in the Episodes which actually connect you the roots of the story .Actors done there job really well and Location for the series is completely connect you that period of incident in between 2005 to 2007 .Costume Designer also done there research for the perfection of the attire used to wear during the period . Production designer also give justice to there job .lastly Hats off to Rajeev Barnwal anad team for there Excellent Effort.

I watched this series yesterday. What a series!!! I read these reviews but still i want to see this webseries as i loved the trailer. Thank god i didn't trust these fake reviews. This webseries is actually a doomed lovestory. People are writing negative comments because of naxal angle in it. Spreading negative reviews abt it bit actually it doesn't promote naxalites. Its based on himan relationships. I become fan of the writer . They why he has written script and scenes. I dont hav words to say. Actually u need a beautiful heard to feel these emotions . I m going to watch it again as i want to fall in love again.

-2 stars for the ending. Completely wasted 10 episode watching. Just to stretch show for the multi season...they just wasted complete balance they created story wise in 9 episodes. So at the end, you really feel like idiot to trust makers and invest your time watching this ever slow and highly predictable 10 episode series.

Since Jail break was the main topic of this series. They should have put more focus on it. This Jail break operation happens so funnily and conviniently .. I mean com'on.all the security people shown like dumb and deaf in terms of fighting naxals...DO NOT go by this route. Better watch any other series.

Jehaanabad of love and war takes you back to the world of a pure love story that prevails amidst hatred and age old practices. The show is mind blowing and takes you on a journey where you get attached to the characters and start feeling for them automatically I watched the entire series in one go and it was really difficult to stop myself after few episode. The thrill the suspense and the what will happen next kept ME glued to my screen. I would recommend this series to everyone who wants to see an original story and also want to know about the biggest jailbreak in India and also if you want to experience a beautiful love story performed by the actors in a well written screenplay. Do not miss it.

What a complete waste of time it was...Being from Bihar, i couldn't relate it at all... Vraisemblance was completely missing. .. Poorly woven stories...I am not cinema expert but pathetic web series i have seen in a long time...Avoid it if you can. Story is pathetic to say the least. Gaur looked a little genuine but rest of cast didn't do justice and how would they if the story is such a pathetic representation. Looks like some left winger wrote this to prove his point. This lacks emotion, drama, music and everything and third grade copy of Mirzapur who still stand tall...pathetic Sudhir Mishra ji ...we expected a lot but it's like khoda pahad nikli chuhiya.

Just finished watching Jehanabad of love and war series on sonyliv app and I must say the series left me thinking at the end of it.

I was not very enthralled with the trailer as such but when I started watching the series it kept me glued to the screen. You can not miss even a single scene or else you will lose the context.

The story is based and as the makers say inspired by real incident of Jehanabad jail break, I googled and read about that unfateful event, but what turned out in the series is a beautiful love story between Abhimanyu and Kasturi and how their own story gets entangled in the hate and politics of the place.

Every actor has played their part so well specially Kasturi and Abhimanyu that you want to root for them till the end. The songs are so good and take story forward in its journey and the 10 episode series has a lot of twists and turns aptly keeping you engaged till the end.

There is no preaching and everything has been kept simple and reasonable to understand. This series is high on enetertainment and very fast paced as I binged watched it.

Best part you can watch this series with family as it is not full of abuses and unnecessary body show like most of the OTT so called love series these days.

Its a period story and the treatment also takes you back to that era.

Kudos to the makers and Sony liv team for bringing such beautiful and unique stories to the viewers.

The shocking twist in episode 6 completely threw me for a loop. The director's ability to have everyone on stage doing what they needed to do and saying what they needed to say was astounding. Kasturi has great relationships with her pals. Enjoyable to observe. The three girls will do whatever to get in Abhimanyu Singh's (the male professor) good graces. O was ecstatic with all the new places he found, and he has built a fantastic cosmos. There aren't many "fell in love" moments. Since it is a highly contentious matter, the author handled it with great objectivity, without taking a stance. To put it simply, I love this program.

One of my perfect choice !! I decided to watch this series because I knew it was a new series so just wanted to give it a try. And given how highly I would suggest the story, I would argue that it was my best choice. The show tells a number of stories with diverse individuals and various aspects. These are not poorly performed, either. Every single character is a success with the best writing and dialogue. Also, I enjoy the movie's songs and lyrics sbince they are excellent and relatable. It succinctly and admirably summarises the entire episode at Jehanabad, which took place decades ago. Must view as it's a very good story whcih very nicely describes the incident of past !!

The cast of characters is well-developed and multi-dimensional, and the depiction of caste politics in rural India is accurate and evocative. If you are interested in the interplay between caste and power in Indian society, this seminar is a good place to start. The event also included the beautiful love ballad O Piya O Sajana. This is the music to play if you want to relax and feel great. The lyrics are just as beautiful as the music. Excellent work. This is something you must not miss. I really helpful this watch this series.

Movie plot and story is very predictable, very boring and at every scenes feels like something which you have watched earlier also...lacks basic commonsense very half cooked love story...man tells lie, hides identity kills her own people and family member but girls end up becoming Naxal with him....no great music, dialogues, straight face acting....overall very ghissi pitti story and tired of such negative movies. Nowhere in comparison to Mirzapur or khakee...i would recommend watching khakee as its far better then this. Direction, inspiration is very bad it feells like very less work has been put into making of this movie and movie makers itself doesnt know what story they want bring you will never know series is revolving around which character...one thing for sure its definitely not a love story form any angle.

Although there is a lot in the series Jehanabad. But what made me recommend it is the love story i had seen in this. And that too with the family involvement in it. The character of Kasturi father and mother is very well played and the dialogues are just perfect!! Although it first seems tough that Kasturi love for Abhimanyu will won but it really does. Moreover, the love story that is involved in the story till the last is very good and for sure the last part cannot be missed by anyone. What a change in the story is taken up before the end !! It's a recommendable masterpiece with a lot containing in it.

Complete nonsense and and no character building.. climax is great example of childish brain involved in this show. Sony LIV shall better think before adding such below average contents as they have given some real good binge worthy shows.

While you are trying to capture real incident you must present in a way it must feel natural. Authenticity and presentation is big minus in this show. Everything seems possible even without giving any effort.

Major drawback is all the characters who are desperately trying to capture bihari accent but couldn't and lead character is wasted without any motive to be in the show.

The script is excellent, with interesting and believable dialogue. Discussions flow naturally, without abrupt pauses or excessive repetitions. It is clear from the dialogue how the characters feel and what drives them. This adds depth to the stories' protagonists and motivates the audience to find out what happens to them. So, it's quite satisfying to witness. Character-wise, Ritwik Bhowmik is well-developed and adds depth to the story. People are intrigued by them and want to learn more about their history. I plan to see it soon, or soon enough. Very amped up!i really watch this. Webseries very nice.

A friend of mine recommended this amazing one to me. And i would say that he really did a great job. As this series is now one of my favourite ones. This is a series with a lot to offer, nevertheless. Yet the love story I saw in it is what inspired me to suggest it. And the involvement of the family on top of that. The speech is spot-on and the portrayal of the Kasturi mother and father is excellent! Although it initially appears difficult, Kasturi's love for Abhimanyu will ultimately triumph. Also, the love story that runs through the entirety of the narrative is excellent, and no one can possibly miss the conclusion. What a shift in the plot occurs before the conclusion! It is a highly regarded masterwork that contains a lot. The story of the series is very nice.

I am very disappointed to see ritvik and rajat kaoopr in this disgusting film which glorify naxlite. The trailer cut looks promising and sets high expectations but overall the movie is a disappointment. The director did try to create suspense with lots of twists and turns but there's nothing interesting that the audiences might have not seen before. Greed and Betrayal is tried and tested and very BORING!! Movie is full of such irrelevant scenes. And these stupid creators were trying to make a nail biting thriller. Do they even know basics of film making. Bollywood should give up the making this type of series. They don't have any factual story, title, emotions, and even acting also... Worst series ever..

A great story which i personally loved a lot not because it's a normal series but because it's really a hit with almost all the important elements involved in it. This series appeals to more people than just those who enjoy love stories because it has so much to offer. This is a very popular series because of the political undertones, the love narrative, the familial manifestation, and all the other different elements. One thing I observed was how the performers portrayed the biharis, which made it seem as though the incident actually took place in Jehanabad. This makes me think of an excellent tale and performances that were well cast and directed. One would undoubtedly adore it!
