My Fair Lady

I wasn't going to write a review, but since there is no other review here I will just write my opinion.

This is the first kdrama made before 2015,that I don't dislike. The main problem of older kdramas is the image quality. This is no different, but it's better than others. Definitely better production than the so praised "boys over flowers".

Acting is acceptable. I usually don't like the acting of older kdramas. It's probably mostly a matter of the direction. I'm no expert though.

The one thing I definitely liked about this one is the story. Although it's supposed to be a rom com, it's mostly a light melodrama, but at least the story is interesting.

I have to say that it would be better if it ended in the 15th episode, but they wanted to give us a late happy ending, fitting to an actual rom com.

It's definitely underrated, at least compared to others of the same time period and I don't know why people don't talk about it more often.

This is so fun to watch and it gets going from the start. The two main actors chemistry is second to none in a romcom, the spoiled brat is done so well this is a talented actress who has done other good series like Coffee Prince. All the cast do do a good job and the writing keeps it interesting and after 16 episodes i didnt think it was too long and thats almost never the case.

This is one of the best K-Drama romantic comedies I have watched in the US and almost skipped it because of the date on it. So glad I did not, as it was really funny, romantic, best chemistry with the 2 leading actors. Seo Dong-chan is a former gigolo who manages to get the job of butler to entitled "Princess" Kang Hye-na who treats everyone horribly. The only one that can handle her is Seo Dong-chan and the comedic ups and downs and romance starts. A really fun series to watch, not too stressful, light hearted but plenty of serious moments too. Worth watching.
