Avis à la une
This movie still has a lot of the charm from the original, mainly in the dynamic between Ed and Dexter, which is what brings it up to this point. On the other hand, a lot of the plot points feel a little forced. It seems like it is trying too hard to appeal to a younger audience than to focus on a plot, which severely degrades the movie. It is also a lot less down to Earth, which takes out some of the charm that the first one had, which felt at least realistic to an extent. Overall, it holds a candle to the original in some ways, yet falls flat in many others, making it much more of a new business venture than an act of fan service to people who love the original.
After watching the original one, I was excited for the sequel. I had kept my expectations low as I was not sure about the sequel.
For me, the movie was both silly and fun. The story was simple and childish (which it was meant to be) and story's concept was same as the original, the screenplay was an improvement over the original, the direction was simple and good and the performances were good. The humour was uneven, somewhere you laugh and somewhere the jokes fail to make you laugh.
Overall, it is a childish silly movie which is enjoyable to watch with your friends and family just like the original.

I am not the target audience for this type of movie. I only got it, on DVD, because my public library added it. So all it "cost" me was perhaps 90 minutes of my retiree time. I didn't watch the original "Good Burger" so all I had was to judge this one on its own merits.
I usually know if I am invested in a movie after 15 minutes. At 9 minutes into this one I was pretty sure I would not. It was confirmed after 15 minutes. Where to start?
It opens with Ed having a dream, it turns out he was asleep on the counter of Good Burger. Then when he starts talking he has what might be the most annoying voice ever in a move role. Then it degrades from there.
There is a story, of risking everything, even the money of friends and family, for a chemical that renders a home impossible to burn. In the inaugural demonstration, complete with audience in lawn chairs, including investor Mark Cuban, it fails badly.
The rest of the movie is to save face and reject a plan to have the Good Burger sold.
Frankly I don't know who the audience might be for this movie. The characters are overly silly, the story is overly silly, and the resolution is overly silly. For me, a big, big miss.

I'm a 90's kid I grew up loving "All That", "Kenan & Kel", and the first "Good Burger" movie. This movie started off good and strong, but then it quickly went south.
The film focuses too much on Ed. The pacing gets slowed down and caught up on Ed's over the top jokes for too long. I understand Ed is a bit of a dumb goofy character, but they REALLY upped the "dumb" on this movie.
Although I loved seeing Kenan and Kel back together again as well as some old familiar faces, I will never understand how the writers in this movie thought they created a good final product.
Sequels are usually never as good as the original, but the writers in this movie made SURE this sequel wouldn't be as good.
I really wanted this movie to succeed, but I can't lie to myself. I was really disappointed.

This movie was pretty good, I dont know why people are saying "its not as good as the first one". Well duhh! No one expected it to be better than the first. Its fun, got a few laughs, and it does a good job at trying to capture the innocence of the first one. No its not completely original, the storyline is pretty similar to the first but its a good thing that they tried to stay on brand. Can you imagine how mad the fans would be if they completely flipped the script? They also had a few cameos from actors that were in the first film as well as some familiar faces from Saturday Night Live. Enjoy the movie, dont think too hard, have a laugh with your old pals. Who loves orange soda??
