Well, not much into writing reviews, never really took the time to do them bu I wanted to in this case. I stumbled across Social Path the Webseries by chance. I was reading a blog and one of the articles was from the website for the series. I was curious and checked it out. First off, it is a very nice website with a ton of information. I saw that it was a Webseries then started to watched the episodes that were archived. The first one didn't blow me away by any means but there was just something about the topics it was talking about. I am a history nut and knew that the things they were stating to explain were actually true. I never heard of a Raven project or anything like that, although monarch mind control is real. Then as I watched the next episodes it started to dawn on me that these guys, and girls, were talking about actual things that have really happened, I was blown away by that, because I wasn't use to it, at least the stuff I watched was either documentaries or thrillers with a made up plot line. The plot line is made up in allot of ways but it is also real...I know, it is a very interesting combination of things to be sure. Anyway, I am now a fan and am anticipating the second season as it left off with one of my favorite characters, Peter Lux, looking like he bought the farm. I am hoping he didn't. I would highly recommend this series to anyone who likes, well, good viewing.
Social Path was introduced to me by a friend who's been watching the series since it's inception. Not one to watch web-based shows, I was reluctant. The first episode caught my attention, the second episode made me want to watch more, and the third episode made me a lifetime fan. Social Path is for a me, a simple program, well-written, great storyline, and excellent acting. Compared to many other web-based shows, Social Path has a direction, and always does a great job making me want to watch more. The best thing about this series is the quality of acting on the show. The actors seem to provide a very group-minded effort, making the show a cohesive, entertaining, cliffhanging series. J.D. Hart is no stranger to acting, and has acted in more than 500 TV commercials. Not sure about the others, but he obviously spends a lot of time in front of the camera. His, and all the other actors parts are believable, cunning, interactive, well- played, and all done in a tasteful format, suitable for many, if not all ages at most times. So my questions - When will a larger TV affiliate bring this to the screens in our living rooms, or the big screen. In my opinion, it's only a matter of time before Social Path becomes a better-recognized name in the land of video entertainment.
I just got done reading the other reviews and they are just about as spot on with what I feel about he series. Although the series lacks a little polish in its over all feel, or I should say look, it makes up for it in the content and the characters that we have come to know and love, and even despise. As I stated in my review for Episode 10, I love the tension between certain characters such as Kevin and Scarlett, or Trevor and the Stranger. I am also a big fan of Peter Lux and I hope that he will be back for season 2. I think this Webseries hits a high note with the real and actual history it uses in the script. Like allot of people I have studied history and find it fascinating. Fascinating because we always seem to repeat it even though all we need to do is look back into history to see how it turned out. Hitler was an evil man by all accounts, but he was also, at one time, considered a hero, I know, strange World. Well, I will leave you with this, if you are reading this review and have not watched the series then I would highly recommend that you do. Chances are, you will be hooked like the rest of us.
OK, first off I really like this series. it is well acted and well written. I notice that allot of the actors have been in many movies and TV projects so that, in my mind, ads to the credibility of the series. Now for what I think should be done better. The look of the series is almost like a cheap camera is being used. I know that the premise of the show is that it is done through conversations via a web-cam, but I hope for season 2 that they will update the look to make it more, well, more in the line of what it should be, with the talent and writing and plot line they have. No worries, I wont tell any spoilers here, you have to watch this series to truly appreciate the writing and acting of it. I have watched many web based shows and I do have to say that this, although not as well made as the others, is still one of the best. Here is hoping that they do an upgrade for season 2, and I am a fan whether they do or not...just hoping they do.
What a very emotionally powerful series about the evils of not just Hitler, but of coming evils that play off his playbook.
