Upside Brown

I recently watched Upside Brown, a sitcom featuring a predominantly South Asian cast, and I have to say, it left a lasting impression. The show mixes humor with relatable everyday situations, giving me major The Office vibes. The mockumentary-style camera work was spot on, making the awkward, funny moments feel more authentic and spontaneous. What really stood out were the characters. Each one was well-developed, with unique personalities and backstories that added depth to the show. I loved it so much that I showed it to many of my friends, and they had a great time watching it too. Highly recommended for anyone who's looking for a character-driven comedy.

Funny moments and certain portions touch your heart. Story is good and keeps you engaged.

Episodes are short and sweet and not dragged on.

Enjoyed the music and both the songs are worth listening to over an over again.

Show is really enjoyed by both parents and ther adult kids.

Coloring and sound is down well. I suggest to watch with subtitles turned on as there is some Hindi spoken here and there.

Crypto song is catchy and done well.

Can't wait for Season 2 to see what happens to all those characters and what journey they go on.

Watched with my family. Adult kids enjoyed it and the girls related to story. Especially when parents try to live their lives through children by forcing and emotional blackmailing :-)

Story moves fast and every episode has few different characters that keeps it interesting.

Indian culture is not so different than other ethnic groups, so it is very relatable.

Akash and Amol look like good old college buddies that I can relate to with my college experience.

Hope people like it as much as I did with my family and that encourages the first attempt filmmakers to create season 2.

It will be fun to see how the story develops in the future and things work out for the Malhotra family.

Both the directors and cast play inspiring roles that take form and evolve throughout the show making for unexpected turns and truly hilarious moments.

As up and coming creatives this show does not fail to both entertain and educate its audience.

While watching with my mom we noticed how connected we were to the content allowing for moments of bonding we didn't expect to occur.

A truly just watch show and directors keep and eye on in the coming years, can't wait for more and wishing the best for everyone who made this possible. 💯

This show is great at parodying the real life interactions of modern ethnic families into an enjoyable sitcom format. Each character exuded purpose and emotion on screen through their dialogue and interactions with other characters. I was easily able to sympathize with the characters based on their office like expressions alone.

Each plotline was seamlessly woven together to form a cliffhanger climax at the end of season 1. I am excited to see how the plot and characters develop through subsequent seasons.
