Avis à la une
This movie is an anthology with three episodes (1) Bolivian Diary (2) Gangs of Vadakkumnathan (3) Day of judgment
(1) Bolivian Diary --> My Rating 5/10
A typical Che- Guevara story (or Veerapan story in India), with actors like Samudrakkani and Asif Ali. The screenplay is linear and acting were good. I loved the locations the director offered. The only demerit is Samudrakkani's Hindi and Malayalam (Still he acted too fine).
(2) Gangs of Vadakkumnathan --> My Rating 5/10
Anoop Menon's write-up is about the gangs of Kerala. The good thing about this is the bravery with how the characters were named in this film (Hats off). Some loopholes but a major twist in climax saves this episode.
(3) Day of judgment --> My Rating 8/10
Fahadh does it again. Right from the first scene the movie takes you spellbound. Its about the lead character's mind states. You may even miss the above two episodes and watch this one. This one starts after the movie interval.

D Company is a portmanteau film with 3 short stories. The title is much inappropriate.
1. Oru Bolivian Diary 1995: Talks about politics and naxalism. How a policeman tries to find a goon through a tribal helper. From poor editing to poor performance to ridiculous cinematography to insensible story, it is the worst of the lot. 0/10.
2. Gangs of Vadakkumnathan: While I liked the plot, the execution sucked big time. Anoop Menon overacts and there is no role for Unnimenon. While the plot is straightforward, the twist involved is fine to watch. 3/10.
3. Day Of Judgement: The lifesaver of the film, because it has a very different narration, coupled with good story & performance. It demands total attention of its audience and does convey a point. 6/10.
Overall, D Company is a poor show but if you find your hands on the DVD, skip to the third part.
