If you have enough unproductive time to waste, better watch your room's ceiling than this .
Imagine : You come from office, tired, you open Netflix to watch something good and Vir Das is on suggestion, you click on it, but after 15 mins you start missing your office and start questioning your Netflix choices. It literally takes the soul out of you.
Vir Das he insaano ko dass riya hai, Bagal mey baitha saanp hass riya hai
If he is trying to save his career atleast he should have created a controversy. There is far better content on YouTube. People who find him funny "I'm Sorry for your Lonely Life"
Thank Me Later.

It's a beautiful amalgamation of comedy and storytelling. It even has personal and intimate touch. Truly enjoyed watching this gem of a person making magic on stage. The concept was also really intelligent and it's definitely a must watch. I laughed throughout the special but there were moments where it got a bit emotional and was brought back to comedy through sarcasm. If you're a Vir Das fan, this is something new we get to watch from him as a side of him. Some bits were so relatable that I was dying with laughter. Watch it on the biggest screen you possibly can. A must watch for all comedy lovers.
Great, witty show. Vir Das is quickly working his way up to be the Indian Stephen Colbert or John Stewart.
Not that he needs to be as ge seems to be carving his path very well in stand up comedy!
It's refreshing to see that he is using the platform to try to bring about much needed positive change in the world.
Instead of just making people laugh by self parody or parody in general, he works ti empower unity within his audience by using the power of his words.
While being powerful with his words, he still manages to be humble and graceful through all his shows!
A very well done show, I look forward to seeing many, many more!!
Thank you Vir Das for having the courage to speak the truth and for trying to bring the world together!

It is neither the "OMG! SOFUNNY! 10/10" and nor "Not funny at all. Stop wasting time on him. 1/10" that you see online. You can tell that both types of reviews come from the groups that are either fans of him, or hate the guy.
This special isn't for everybody and as it turns out, it isn't for me either but it's....say a 6/10 in my books? This special is a mix of the regular stereotypical sex/race jokes (with different punchlines) and witty "intellectual" humor. Should a special be only one or the other? Sure. Can it be a mix? Sure.
If you've watch a variety of standup, you would probably understand that jokes about race/sex are very common and get a quick laugh out of the audience. You decide if it's smart for a comedian to include the above, or if it's taking the easy way out. - in this special, I didn't like any of this. The intellectual part of the humor, I liked the storytelling part of it, but for me, it was chuckle worthy at best. You can tell that it's almost one type of a special, but then it changes quickly, and there's this constant back and forth, until maybe the last part.
Some of the punchlines in this special, however, will make you go "LOL, he did NOT just say that. Haha" I'd have loved more of this, but knowing what's happened with his previous works, I can understand. Some of the storytelling does make you wonder the state of creative freedom. Easy to be the audience, but tough to be in the guy's shoes and actually come up with something given everything surrounding him. Props for that.

Vir Das is the most impactful comedian of our generation. The way he uses comedy to make us laugh and instigate the thought around how we can be a better human being is just wonderful. I have watched all his specials and this one feels personal. It's well thought through with stories that will for sure steer up some of your personal experiences that you might have had in your life as an Indian middle class kid. There were times when I was laughing with tears in my eyes feeling happy and sad at the same time. In short I hope he continues to do such specials and helps us become better human being.
