When Krish is making Ananya's dad's presentation, her dad goes to get some comfortable clothes for Krish to sleep in and Krish shuts the lid of his Samsung Ultrabook. When her dad comes back, the lid is open. And when the two start talking again in the same scene, the Ultrabook is closed again.

When Krish comes to meet Ananya at her office while she is giving a presentation, the earring she is wearing is a large one with color matching her collar. In the next shot when they are outside the office talking, she is wearing a smaller metallic ear ring.

When Arjun Kapoor and Amrita Singh are having a conversation on dining table and Amrita's finger gets cut, her hands keep changing position during their talk.

During the song "Iski Uski" Ananya's sari is yellow with red border but after the song the color changes to black.

Tamil people, much like the rest of Indians, do not eat on banana leaves. At weddings or some special occasions this may happen, but they use plates like everyone else.

There is no south thing as "south Indian Brahmins" or one singular entity of people called "south Indians". Every state has it's own distinctly developed language and culture that has existed separately for over a millennia. At the beginning of the movie, Krish's calls her mother's cellphone. Her father answers the call and the smartphone's screen remains illuminated throughout (the display should switch off as the phone is brought to his face).

When the lead characters are having tea during their first year , the song Dilliwali girlfriend is being played which is not possible as the movie Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (2013) released in the year 2013 , and the story of this movie is showed taking place in the mid 2000s.

When Krish and Ananya's dad are in the car, there is a brown bus next to them. Buses in Chennai were green when the story is set and were changed to brown shortly before the film was shot.

Ananya is a Tamilian but cannot speak Tamil properly.
