The Andy Carmen Show

The pilot is definitely not a good start to the show. The dialogue isn't great, voice acting is pretty bad, and the story is really weird.

On the story side, it is just weird. The intro shows aliens near the end of it, and makes me wonder what the hell this has to do with a show about the life of a middle schooler. The dialogue is really odd and cheesy at times. I was lost throughout the episode, and got bored of it really quick.

On the production side, it is just an absolute mess. The quality is really bad. The intro sucks. The voice acting is trash. And let's not begin with the animation. It is inconsistent, and only sometimes is there a well animated scene. It is really jarring. You go from one well-animated scene, to something that was cooked up in 2 seconds.

Overall, it is just an absolute mess. I would understand if it were one person making this, but this is apparently a whole crew of people, which is unbelievable. The story clearly wasn't developed enough. But the reason why I give this 3 stars instead of 1 is because there is only 1 episode out. I feel like this could improve over time. I wish good luck to the crew.
