Avis à la une
First half is justice to the title, second half story is out of the title. Movie becomes a dance competition program.
Writer salon or shown with proper story. Both of them half baked story. And frequently showing the parrots and many might have guessed that it play an important role in the climax. But it didn't gel with the story. I was expecting the competition between hair specialists fighting for their glory. Heroine is of no use. Robo Sankar comedy and voice modulation didn't work. Satya raj is ok.
Seems director has many thoughts and trying to put together in a single movie. This could have been a 3 movies.

Its one of the cringest movie in tamil cinema . First 1 hour was good , but after that it was full of cringe scenes. Akward to the core . The director absolutely had no idea in his mind . RJ balaji acting was very poor . Total waste of time . In the name of motivation , the director has made an absolute nonsense story . Acting is very poor . Only sathyaraj acting was good in the movie . Total unwanted scenes . Not sure why loki , jeeva , aracvindsamy acted in this movie . This movie only creates anger , but definitely not motivation . RJ balaji can host a radio show mow again and tease his own movie.
Believe.. Miracles happen! When we spend considerable time watching a movie, it should be worth our while. Movies must inspire, and this one surely does. Same people who comment movie is unreal and fake, are the those who would support gore, betrayal and violence! Once in a while, Let's have hope and faith.... Good theme and excellent narration by Balaji... Amazing cast and music. There are many movies that have star studded casting but fails to deliver the crux/essence of what the story should convey.... simple, yet powerful casting... Comedy did not suffocate the viewers. Family drama did not overpower the event flow. An ambitious man's dream supported by the next of kins, driven by the divine intervention. What more a real life story would need?! Kudos!
Singapore Saloon is a wannabe emotional film that has no idea on how real life functions and all it wants is to seek attention from its audience with its pathetic screenplay that lacks logic, characterization, scene continuity, and, whatever that it that makes a good film.
If you are looking to get inspired from this movie, I'm telling you, watching paint dry, is much more entertaining than this. I had to watch the whole film in 1.5x speed as it is too slow and things don't make sense; Everything happens to the main character and he basically does nothing to become a millionaire.
When I heard about this film, I thought it would be revolutionary since in India, cutting someone's hair is associated with certain caste only. R. J Balaji's good for nothing film skips all the actual issues that a person would face to become an entreprenur and the entire narrative of this film is constructed on weird consequences that is way too improbable to happen to a single person.

As a film enthusiast, I recently had the displeasure of watching "Singapore Saloon," and I must say, it was a cinematic disappointment from start to finish. The movie failed to deliver on multiple fronts, leaving viewers with an unsatisfying and forgettable experience.
One of the most glaring issues with "Singapore Saloon" is its lack of a compelling storyline. The plot meanders aimlessly, lacking coherent direction or meaningful character development. Viewers are left wondering what the film is trying to achieve, as it fails to engage or captivate with its narrative.
The performances in "Singapore Saloon" are equally underwhelming. The cast members deliver flat and unconvincing portrayals, failing to evoke any emotional connection or investment from the audience. Character motivations are unclear, and interactions feel forced and unnatural, further detracting from the overall viewing experience.
Moreover, the technical aspects of the film leave much to be desired. The cinematography is uninspired, with dull visuals that do little to enhance the storytelling. Sound design and editing are also lackluster, contributing to a disjointed and unpolished final product.
The pacing of "Singapore Saloon" is another major flaw. The movie drags on unnecessarily, with scenes that overstay their welcome and add little value to the overall narrative. Viewers are left bored and disengaged, struggling to find reasons to stay invested in the story unfolding on screen.
Additionally, "Singapore Saloon" suffers from a lack of originality and creativity. The film relies heavily on tired clichés and predictable plot twists, offering nothing new or innovative to the genre. It feels like a rehash of familiar tropes without adding any fresh perspective or insight.
In conclusion, "Singapore Saloon" is a lackluster and uninspired cinematic effort that fails to leave a lasting impression. With its weak storyline, unconvincing performances, technical shortcomings, pacing issues, and lack of originality, the film falls flat and struggles to justify its place in the world of cinema. I would advise potential viewers to steer clear of this disappointing movie and explore more engaging and worthwhile cinematic offerings.
