This is one of the classic marathi serial still I get goosbumps while watching each and every moment , superb direction, acting by all actors.

A Benchmark serial for all future work.

The whole cast just suits to their role. Especially Jijamata and Shivaji roles have been played very well. Whenever I imagine Shivaji Maharaj the first face that comes to my mind is of Amol Kolhe. That much effectively it has been played. Overall the show is great. If you want to learn about Shivaji Maharaj, the show is a must.

Great work by Nitin Chandrakant Desai, Dr Amol Kolhe, Yatin Karyekar and all others who gave the viewers a memorable journey of their beloved Maharaj who is ruling their hearts even after 325 years. Justice done to Babasaheb's book and other historians' work. A good work which will give the direction to viewers and should be repeated on prim time. The divine work done by the producers which will be one of the most important work done during their life time. Sets gave the feeling of real palaces, costumes were to the mark and also casting. This serial gave the opportunity to Marathi Producer/ Director to show the world that they are as good as any one.

There are many movies made on life of shivaji maharaj, but most of them failed to show the real politics and strategies of that period. On the other hand this series had shown a detailed scenario and strategies.

If you really want to understand political scenarios and politics of Shivaji Maharaj, and want to learn from his life, then go for this series.

Pros: 1. Content of the show is one of the best. Character of 'Sonopant' is interesting.

2. Actors: everyone is great in terms of acting. I want to mention Avinash Narkar who played Shahaji Maharaj. You can really connect with him.

3. Art Direction is plus point for the series.

Cons: 1. There is no VFX. It is expected as the series had telecasted in 2008-09.

Bottom line: If you want to learn the strategic side of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, then go for it. Content and acting is more powerful than other things.
