Avis à la une
Rubbish, especially David Essex whose acting is as bad as ever. This film is so pedestrian it virtually limps, pleading to be put down. I can't watch anymore!
Dreadful movie from an obviously incompetent and talentless director. Never seen so much dross in my whole life. It's like watching a school child's Year 8 drama class.

Traveller is a by the numbers "Gypsy thriller" with little to recommend it. Its incredibly clichéd,resorting to gangster movie clichés and poorly staged fistfights for punctuation.
The script is awful ( i haven't read the book upon which it is based but as the same writer wrote both I would not be optimistic).
performances vary massively but no-one is impressive. This may be because of benjamin F John's lacklustre direction. This is John's only directing credit, and it feels like a contractual obligation.
perhaps it is a generational thing but I can't see the appeal of David essex. I realise that he was successful in the 1970's but he has no appeal to my age group.
I was bored by this and wished I hadn't bothered. Avoid.

Traveller. Was like a poor parody of life in the Irish traveller community. Offensive sterotypes, a poor storyline. The use of the term "halfblood" I have only heard used for those of MIXED race by older people in the community. Its very biased film against Irish travellers in general and a poor film in general also. Tries hard to project an image of travellers as anti-social. Irish travellers are portrayed as "Undesirable" a lable the Irish traveller community doesnt need promoted, as its comman enough already.
