Sync

This series is a culmination of all of Sam and Niko's skills combined. They cast well, shots were perfect, audio was natural and non-jarring and the storyline was unpredictable and original.

This series follows our protagonist to mob bosses houses, geek lairs, secret government headquarters and even across the ocean to China. The story takes twists and turns that, while not too incredible, keep the audience guessing at every point. At the end of each episode it's a frantic scramble to put the next one on due to the suspense they've left you in.

Sync surely satisfies the audiences desires for an action show with great comedy bits, a touch of romance and a whole lot of fun.

I have been a fan of the content produced by Corridor Digital for a while now. So, when I heard they were releasing a web series, I knew I had to check it out. I am SOOO glad that I did.

SYNC has easily became one of my favorite shows OF ALL TIME. It's creative, original, entertaining, pretty much everything you could possibly want from a TV show. The only difference, is that the episodes are shorter than an average TV show, and they're uploaded to YouTube.

The acting is surprisingly well for a YouTube series. Not to mention the fact that the visuals and effects are simply outstanding. I highly recommend that everyone go watch it.

I didn't find this as the episodes were being released, so I got to watch it all in one shot as the finished movie. I also very much prefer indie productions to big commercial titles.

That said, "Sync" is incredible. With an original take on the premise and storyline, it features superb acting and amazing effects. The script perfectly balances action, humor, romance, and character development. In fact, it's the character development over the course of the movie that stands out to my mind.

A couple of people have commented on the ending. I will say only that I thought it was excellent and a fitting way to end this particular story.

Bravo to all involved!

I must say that Sync is the best web-series I have found on the Internet, trumping things like VGHS. Its writing is a perfect mix of action, thriller, and romance, and the plot is singularly unique. Add to that great actors, smart directors, and skilled VFX artists, and you get an amazing, must-see show.

There are only two problems I have with Sync. 1: The episodes come out once a month, which is rather slow compared to other series. 2: The episodes themselves are only nine minutes long or so, which is short compared to TV shows of half an hour each.

Still, I think that the pros way outweigh the cons, and Sync is a great show.

Rarely has such a good film been made with such a small budget. Don't panic during the first 15 minutes where it seems like this is going to be just another mindless action "avenging secret agent" with a sci-fi twist movie. Over the next 90 minutes, the plot and characters rapidly evolve into something much more.

What makes this evolution and its intriguing ending work is a combination of excellent writing, very good actors and a skillful director -- all working with an obviously dedicated crew. No one is just phoning it in here.

The light sprinkling of special effects also works well within the context of the story. But don't get the idea that this movie is all cerebral... the concepts that come along are exciting -- and it's got plenty of action and moves right along without going over the top into the usual silly excesses.

I haven't enjoyed an independent film so much in a long time.
