Avis à la une
Young woman that's basically lost in life. Works the counter at a porn shop while dressing in sexy outfits like Little Bo Peep. Also goes to a club and picks up a different date (Sometimes men. Sometimes women) each time but gives a different bio of herself to each one. Even though she and all her dates go to the same club, not one of them catches on to her lies or that she only dates each for one night? The rest of the time, is home doing nothing constructive.
The movie is the creation of Anna Shields who also plays the lead. There are opportunities or maybe they were actual attempts at comedy but it misses the laughs. They try to garner sympathy for the main character but again misses the mark. It seems like there are dramatic moments to draw you into the story but once again, a total miss. In addition there is much that doesn't make sense.
This could have been interesting. This could have been funny. Even the ending could have been something. Instead we get nothing.

Anna Shields served this film as screenwriter, co-director, co-producer and star, and damn is she ever terrific as the suffer-no-fools title character, a porn shop video clerk clad from head-to-toe in fetishwear and attitude. Leigh Strimbeck provides impressive support as the mother who drives "Peep" to work and back, always certain to have her car stereo tuned to STD-tips talk radio. Though shot on a modest budget, co-director/producer, Jon Russell Cring, with well over a dozen previous films under his belt, knows how to make a little look like polished gold. And I'm actually shocked to read here that the film runs 78 minutes, as it truly felt like barely half that.
Horrible movie that drags on. I see what they were trying to do was show that they wanted to make a movie with zero character development, but it was not done well at all. Horrible acting and mostly shots of the main character smoking and going to clubs. Hardly any dialogue or story to it at all.
The movie is crowd funded, so some people found it worth a shot. Emma is a chain smoking 23 y/o woman who leads a pathetic life, and works the last shift at a porn store where she has to dress in seductive costumes. She was assaulted by her father, whom she tried to set on fire, and her mother doesn't seem to be much of a role model. She has a lot of built up rage. She meets Mason, and seems to be headed on a better path, but her lies and deceit catch up with her. But will that make a difference for her? Emma really leads a very disgusting and pathetic life, but in that role, she manages to sell it. But it is a hard movie to take. It certainly is not a movie for everyone.
