It actually is,believe it or not, better than some of the offerings on Redbox, but overall it really is bad. I thought Kris Kristofferson was dead, and as it turns out HE IS, it's just that someone has neglected to share that information with him so he can just fall down !
The story is thinner than horse hair and if the acting had been any worse I'd say this was made for someone's junior college film class in New Hampshire.
I wouldn't dare write a spoiler for this film, it was spoiled pretty much after the opening credits. I would hate to think someone actually had a straight face when they sold this story to someone and actually went to the trouble of casting, filming, editing, promoting and sitting back to watch all the positive reviews.

Another reviewer compared this to something done by a junior college film class, which is an insult to junior college students. Simple-minded script, wooden acting, and implausible plot. What bank will underwrite a $9,000 loan to someone who is already $11,000 in arrears on mortgage payments? I quit watching after five minutes in.
An interesting idea, likely done before about a farmer with a love for horses and heavily in debt to the bank who finds a stallion in a field, talks to it, trains it and gets it to run in a race. You can almost guess the end, but I would argue this is one of those movies for ALL the family, no foul language, good entertainment, hardships on every side, but worth watching for the end result..enjoy - we did!

Remember when you were a child and the family gathered around the TV on a Sunday night to watch a show about a family and/or animals? Well here is that type of movie. With Kris Kristofferson as the patriarch of the family, who along with his wife and daughter are trying to keep the family land but he still wants to follow a dream of his own.
It is an intriguing film about family and working together for a goal. The story is inspiring and encouraging for all families that may have difficult times. Yes I recommend it. James Welch Henderson, Arkansas 1/28/2021
