I don't really understand why Nani is lauded as natural star in the Telugu states. If not for him this movie could have been a great watch. The way he speaks is like he is trying too hard to seduce with his voice and it is like that in most of the scenes irrespective of the context and you cannot help but remember the fact that he used to be a radio jockey which makes it difficult to care for Varun as the portrayal seems fake.On the other hand Samantha as Nithya was great with the sultry voice of Chinmayi only adding to her performance. The confrontation scenes between Varun and Nithya are well written and so are the comic scenes involving hero's friend. Ilayaraja's music is an asset to the film and all the songs are good. A good movie with few flaws.

First of all do not compare this film with ye maaya chesave!

This film is a simple and a practical love story.

The casting has done full justice to their roles, actually more than justice.

They bought the characters to life which I must say was amazing!

The director, Gautam Vasudev Menon has done it once again and I personally feel this movie is better than ye maaya chesave.

Nani has done an excellent job and his work in this film makes him considered among top Tollywood heroes. Samantha also gave the best of her for the role of Nithya.

The music was absolutely fantastic! It was the music that dragged me to cinema hall to watch this movie.

Ilayaraja's music composition was absolutely fantastic and he can aptly be called as 'MAESTRO'. The compositions were mellifluous!

The screenplay and direction are fantastic! You could see yourself in the main characters and the story just connects with you.

The chemistry between Nani and Samantha is just the best and convincing.

The climax was a little slow but the the end was worth the wait.

This film is a 'MUST WATCH' especially for those who enjoy romantic films.

Lastly as the tag suggests 'THIS COULD BE YOUR LOVE STORY'. So do not miss this wonderful love story.

My rating would be 10/10(more than 10 if only it was possible)!!

Yeto Vellipoindi Manasu , starring Nani and Samantha , is one of the finest tollywood cinema ever made.

Even though the directors early work Yem Maya Chesave , was a big Hit back then , id didn't impressed me quiet much

But i went to this movie only because of Samantha and Nani.

and oh god!!! i did the right thing. the movie is like a love fable book unfolding in front of our eyes..

it depicts the love life of Varun and Nithya. I was literally involved in the character feeling my self in the role.

My hands went into my pocket without knowing me to dial a call to my dear one.

and i assure you if you are into romantic kinda flicks. this is the movie you cant afford to miss.

Nani as an actor improving film by film. Samantha as Nithya did her best. Director was successful in extracting every detail he could. The climax scenes were very sensible and i bet none except Nani could do the role .

Ilayaraja , there's nothing to tell about him , a veteran music maestro , gave a wonderful music , which maintains the cool tempo and makes us involve .

on a whole it was love story and it could be your love story .. full of lovable moments

It being a while i have written a review.. But i cant stop myself writing about this wonderful movie.

Practical movie with some romantic touch as expected direction is extraordinary nani and samantha were extraordinary on screen their performance was usually good samantha's performance was remarkable movie goes with romantic love track in whith samantha lived as nithya and nani as varun story goes like tjis varun is a middle class boy who fall in love with nithya due to some reasons they break up when kids and when they were at 20 they break up as varun realises that he is a middle class boy who need to improve his family status but movie has some drawbacks too they are: 1)show paced scenes 2)editing could have been better positive points: 1)superb direction 2)above average screen play a person who is in love would have give 10/10 to this movie

Yeto Vellipoyindhi Manasu - My Review [9.5/10]

One Amazing lovable movie. Its been ages watching such a movie in Tollywood industry in the genres of Romantic drama. movie was just awesome, its a great feel of watching it. Thanks to Gautham Vasudev Menon for presenting such a movie.

Nani's acting was so cool, well presented his skills in the movie. Didn't know that Samantha could perform such beautifully; After watching this movie changed the opinion on her acting skills. Screenplay is beautiful, gautham proves to be the best in detailing the movie; He had pulled out the actors love-hate feelings on the screen. Movie is all about dialogs, actors feelings and the situations they are in that moment. Simple taking but it was perfect. Music adds a magical effect to the movie; background score was completely soothing. Perfect story transitions, so beautifully and cool taking.

All that takes to watch the movie is lots of patience. Many of them feel it slow but once if u get involved with the story and feel then its just awesome.

Had a good feeling after watching such a wonderful movie.

A perfect romantic movie.

The most awaiting movie from Nani and Samantha released today. I saw this movie, it's really good. Performances of Nani and Samantha is amazing. While watching this movie mostly 90% of the people will remember their past things from school and college life. Music from ilayaraja fantastic, background score is also good. Especially "priyathama neevachata kushalama nenichata kushalame" song was excellent and it came in perfect timing.

Samantha as nithya really gave a wonderful performance. Nani well suited for his character. Especially second half of the movie shows painful experience of love in everyone's life. My rating for this movie 10/10.

A must watch movie from gautham vasudev menon. He knows very well how to handle this type of subject. Thanks for the director for giving such a feel good movie for us. Thank you.
