    Why was this movie made?

Think Like a Man Too (2014) is the sequel to Think Like a Man (2012) and it was directed by Tim Story with the ensemble cast from that first movie back and it was just very mediocre.

Positives for Think Like a Man Too (2014): The returning ensemble cast does a great job with their performances and they look like they're having fun in this movie. The various scenarios with the men and women are doing their own thing in Las Vegas is certainly interesting. I also liked some of the dramatic moments between characters in the third act. And finally, this movie is good for some background noise while you're doing other things.

Negatives for Think Like a Man Too (2014): There isn't much of a story to this movie and it doesn't really advance any of the characters in any meaningful ways. You have Adam Brody who pretty much does nothing and if you waste Adam Brody, then you have a serious problem. And finally, there is nothing in this movie to justify its own existence aside from the studio wanting franchise with this ensemble cast and to make money.

Overall, Think Like a Man Too (2014) is a very mediocre sequel to an average romantic comedy movie that didn't do a whole lot for me and this sequel justifies that statement for me.

    An entertaining ride

I never saw the first Think Like a Man(2012), but I enjoyed the sequel, If you are expecting The Hangover(2009) meets Bridesmaid(2011) from what you saw in the trailers, Well it kind of is, but it does not quite go there. This film is only for a entertaining ride, and for anybody just to sit back and forget about your problems.

Kevin Hart was better here then he was in About Last Night, any scenes he is in, he milks it for all it worth. But the rest of the cast are pretty memorable also, the men and ladies really bring it all here. The Las Vegas scene is also good, and becomes it's own character. There are also some good dramatic moments. See this movie with friends, and I hope you have good time.

    Change of scenery

The first one was really great and you can see how excited everyone is coming back to the characters and relationships they loved to play. The end result is not as good as the first one, but you can still have fun. There is a bit of an evolution (though the "mom" still seems to have the same issues, but gets a different kind of story-line/character that will serve her right ...), but nothing too major. The character traits are still visible and some of the issues have gone further (J. Ferrara and Unions characters).

There is fun to be had, although the script is not as good and witty as the first one. Still if you loved the characters in the first one, you should be able to go on that second ride with them. Still not much in the depth department, but I didn't expect that to happen here anyway

A great funny movie that treats everyone right. Kevin Hart kills his role.

I went to see "Think Like A Man Too" last night with a friend of mine. I won't lie, I thought it was going to be some stereotyped "black" movie, and the few white guys that were in it would be the butt of the jokes, and worse, that the "nigga" word would be thrown around like I see it, on occasion, between a few brothers on Facebook, and hear, constantly, in conversations around my very diverse apartment neighborhood and overhear among some African American Soldiers. (I hate the use of that word, no matter who says it to whom, and will not watch movies that dialog it. just sayin'.)

But I digress...Instead of the movies that I have attempted to watch, on occasion, that were what I described above, I found, although this movie could classify as a "Chick-Flick," Think Like A Man Too was really, really funny and very tastefully done. Very little cussing and the one "n-word" uttered in the movie is on a phone call and is barely audible.

This is a great funny movie that really does treat everybody right, the way it should be. Kevin Hart kills his role. Excellent movie for everyone. and unlike one of the reviews I read that said "if you are white and a dude you probably won't get it," All I can say to that is, Wrong. :-)

Think Like a Man Too: A Sequel That's More Than Just a Rehash

I'll admit it: I wasn't particularly excited about "Think Like a Man Too." Sequels often feel like cash grabs, rehashing the same old plot points with a slightly different coat of paint. But this one surprised me. It's more than just a continuation of the original; it's a film that stands on its own, offering a fresh take on the romantic comedy genre.

The film follows our favorite crew of friends as they navigate the complexities of relationships, this time with a focus on marriage and commitment. While the plot may be predictable, the performances are what truly elevate the film. Kevin Hart delivers his usual brand of humor, but there's a newfound depth to his character that makes him more relatable than ever. The rest of the cast also shines, bringing their unique personalities to the table and creating a believable dynamic.

One of the things I appreciated most about this film was its portrayal of Black relationships. It's a refreshing change from the stereotypical depictions often seen in Hollywood. The characters are complex, flawed, and ultimately relatable, making it easy to root for their happiness.

Of course, there are a few missteps along the way. Some of the humor feels a bit forced, and the pacing can be uneven. But overall, "Think Like a Man Too" is a solid sequel that will leave you smiling. It's a reminder that sometimes, the best relationships are the ones that stand the test of time.
