As an 18 year old American watching Carrossel with English subtitles, I've really fallen in love with it. Even though it's a kids show, it makes me feel connected to my childhood.

My favorite character is Jaime. He's funny, caring, and such a good friend. One of my favorite moments was when he picked up Maria Joaquina and walked her to school after everyone was ignoring her. She usually acts spoiled, but Jaime was just being kind, and it was really sweet. Another moment I loved was when Carmem had to move to another city, and he offered to pick her up and bring her to school and home every day. He didn't even think twice about it. He just wanted to help. That's what makes Jaime so special. He always thinks about others, even if he doesn't always get things right.

My favorite storyline is Maria Joaquina and Cirilo. Cirilo is the nicest kid ever, and the way he adores Maria Joaquina is adorable, even if she doesn't treat him right. It's frustrating sometimes, but I love watching their story. My second favorite is Valeria and Davi. Their relationship is so funny and cute. I really hope to see more of them.

Even though I'm not from Brazil, I feel so connected to this show. The characters go through things that remind me of my own childhood, and I think that's why I love it so much. It's like a warm, happy memory.

This Show, Is Very Boring & Overdramatic, In My Opinion. & The Title Is Very Boring Too, Sounds Like A Name For A Ride.
