Les Télétubbies

Not bad at all, somewhat stayed to the OG teletubbies. Just few twists for representations and improvements in the graphics and sound. Not a fan of the narrator in this to be honest, sounds nothing like the original. Although the graphics were outstanding, the teletubbies seems to be awkward and creepy at the same time lol. Im not aware of the existence of tiddlytubbies so i was shocked when i watched them for the first time in this, cute but not necessary. The baby sun mascot was cute, unlike the original this time they went for a baby of different race. Not liking the green color on dipsy but love the idea of making one teletubbies into a darker skin complexion, like dipsy representating dark skin tone and ping as asian tiddlytubby. Not a fan of the music here, the rest were tolerable. Good for babies, recommended.

I put this on as a joke for my toddler and he instantly fell in love with the show. He doesn't like TV shows like this so I am shocked. Now I am singing the theme song all day! I didn't watch the 90s Teletubbies so can't compare it to the older version but I like the little music songs they have one it with toddlers dancing and singing, the girl who sings is very happy and my son enjoys watching her sing and dance. The Teletubbies themselves creep me out but my toddler enjoys them and laughs with them. I hope there is another season for my son to watch. The stories are very cute, and interesting for children.

Why all the negative reviews I don't know. The original I couldn't stand, even as a young person. This is almost enjoyable to watch with a kid being an adult now. And some of the dang songs are earworms. Titus narrating is pleasant to listen to. I would much rather have this on in the background than anything from that baby fong pink shark productions, or whatever it is. Netflix did a good job with it IMHO, and I actually hope they make more. Compared to some other rebooted versions there are not many episodes to be honest. And considering that I've been nothing but pleased from what I've seen that WildBrain put their name on, it shouldn't be much of a surprise.
