Avis à la une
I think that this show certainly capitalises on suspense with great acting and a super cast. The Storyline is good and although the series could ne condensed, I appreciate that it has not been. I would highly recommend viewing.for the quality acting and suspensefolled plot. There are many hidden deprhs to each individual character and people and things are not always what they appear. I do not understand the poor reviews on this as i am absolutely loving this series and really look forward to each new episode. Watch for yourself and see what i mean and enjoy. I
definitely recommend viewing of this series.
The whole show's purpose is to maximize the number of episodes. While this doesn't necessarily correlate with a bad thing, this show manages to create one of the worst shows I've ever scene. Nothing is realistic in this show. Falak is given extreme power and Alma's stupidity is beyond measure. If the silent moments were cut, the show would decrease to 20 episodes maybe. It has big name actors but the acting is sub par, except Falak. It's a headache to watch and it's an insult to the audience. No idea why these big name actors agreed to it. Writing, directing, acting is just a shame to be part of.
Not everything needs to be sophisticated and intricate. I see Stiletto as the TV equivalent of junk-food, it's not very nutritious but it's a nice guilty pleasure. The plot is extremely drawn-out and needs to be significantly condensed. The actors were okay, I especially liked the performance of Falak (Dima Kandalaft) who commanded a very powerful presence on screen. Besides the acting, and mediocre writing, my major gripe with this series was the lack of originality in the screenplay and soundtrack, you see the same cuts, transitions and scenes repeated endlessly, with the same soundtrack blasting throughout, it gets so repetitive and made the series so hard to watch. I think Levantine drama could be so much better than Stiletto but nonetheless I still enjoyed the series.
I usually never write reviews for anything, but I felt the need to write this review because I feel insulted as a viewer. Do the writers/directors think that little of their audience? Do you think we have zero logic? And these well known famous actors, how could you take on such bad script? The events make no sense at all. The people telling the story are not the main characters, dont live with the main characters, dont live inside the main characters heads. Nothing makes sense! For Falak's character, even the world leaders don't have such powers... This is such a joke. I stopped watching the show halfway because I truly feel insulted. Its as if the producers of the show think of me (as an audience) as someone with zero intelligence to follow such a ridiculous story line.
The show is absolutely trivial, superficial and illogical. It is an insult to peoples' minds. It fails on all levels
The characters' reactions slow and boring and inexplicable.
I just feel very sorry that such actors and actresses agreed to partake in such stupid show. I want to ask Badih, Qays, Samer, Karees, Carlos, Dema, Nada, and others, have you read the scenario? This show is shameful and huge step down!! Especially, Badih, Qays and Karees, I would like to ask, are you serious? How could you???
I am really surprised that producers need to stoop down to produce Turkish trivial drama in time the Syrian and the Lebanese drama and writers are great.
Let's talk a little about the unreasonable events of the show: First, these two women who are telling the story to the police: they are telling the events as if they were living with characters, as if they were inside their heads. Since it is impossible, then telling the story by these two women made the entire show laughable!! Second, Falak is given unrealistic powers! The character is unrealistic even for a fantasy story! Third, fourth, fifth, etc all about the poor writing, poor imagination, poor scenario, and poor acting.
I would like to say, stop following Turkish drama because it's very stupid and it makes you look stupid!
