As a veteran of Afghanistan, I was watching this unfold in real time without the ability or resources these guys have. I kept looking for updates knowing this group would do amazing things. That's what they did, despite the obstacles and setbacks. I would update my wife and fellow veterans on what they had accomplished each day. Now seeing this, I was able to hear what they went through to accomplish everything. I got a snippet from Tim Kennedy's book, but this completed the picture I had in my head of what went on. I couldn't be more proud of this group of Americans and everyone that helped. A shame that it went down this way, but to those who stepped up, you embody what America is and should be.

I heard about this documentary and thought it will be worth the watch, but it probably is going to be similar to what you heard on the news. It was only a year ago. Well what you heard from coverage seems to scratch the surface. These men fill in every gap from the formation of the team to the time they left in a deeper way than expected out of a hour film. The film was produced well and had a raw feeling to it that makes you feel their emotion. While they did voice some frustrations with the situation, they did not drop to blaming politicians, and instead praised the ones that did what they could to help.
Some of the most rusty and dolittelish documentary ive seen for ages. That is a pity cause what happened in kabul where some of the most intens and horrific flee situation since the vietnam war, therefore it shouldve beenworked through and maximised qualitywise. They hardly use live footage, and the footage that are shown are so sensured that its a shame. Ive seen other documantaries about the chaotic scenes on hamid karzai int airport, that dares to show the worst of desperation out there, people that clings on to whatever aircaraft leaving, hanging on for bare life, till the winddrag ripped them of to a surtain death when falling. THAT IS WHAT IT WAS!!THATS RAW AND HARSH REALITY DOCUMENTARYFILMAKING!!
Its been 16 months since this happened, and howcome they present a kindergarden product with so low quality of sound and vision its a failure and a shame. Even a media student at 1st year at high school would see that this is amateur work... and why cant they name the colonel that sent 300 people back to their executioners??? Its a documentary where the truth must come out.
I praise the people that gave their best efforts to save as many as they could, but the way its presented here is just awful and just a 3 from the grumpy old man.no recommend...

There are still Americans who care and will give their lives for this country and we are so proud of them and because of them I am proud to be an American! You cannot get through this documentary without a tissue box. Everyone needs to watch this documentary and reflect...in my heart, in my mind, in my attitude, in my words, in my conversations, in my actions and in my votes!!! It is heart breaking to see what really goes on from the ground and behind the scene :-( It is also a good lesson to learn from these heroes that failures or even deaths do not define them! It adds to their resolve to continue because there are more lives to be saved, to settle these saved lives, to serve these saved lives and to support these saved lives...may God bless these heroes who have gone before us, are with us and will be with us!
This documentary moves you toward seeing both the horrors of the rest of the world and what a very-few Americans are doing to change outcomes and save people who have a better and freer vision, and are willing to put their lives on the line to achieve that vision. Put down your half-caf latte with a twist of lemon, your faux outrage at your latest emotional challenge or disagreement, or your commitment to die with the most toys, and step up as a citizen of the freest nation that has benefitted billions around the world. "How much larger your life would be if your self could become smaller in it." -- G. K. Chesterton.
