Definitely big on comedy and somewhat light on horror. An almost would be Slasher film takes a short cut in the 15 minute short.
I really enjoyed the crisp clean takes for the editing was done very well. The darkness of the night always makes for a great horror/horror comedy in this case.
The acting was great word for word and it all fit right into 15 minutes.
I will always love the Cabin in the Woods style of filming. It really gives it a creep factor feel to it so you may be somewhat aware of what may happen, which is the anticipation.
I think that they could have really put a jump scare in there to spice it up a bit.

I enjoyed the originality of this film. It started off like a well-known slasher, but it took a turn that I was not expecting. The actors did a great job bouncing off of each other which made the dialogue enjoyable. I found myself constantly laughing at their exchanges.
Olivia Holguin, who played Becky, gave a great performance and she did a great job bouncing off of Will Harris and Jeremy Radin.
Just like any film, there is room for improvement, but this was an enjoyable watch. If you have 15 minutes to spare, I highly recommend this short film. The original story and the chemistry between the actors makes this a solid film.

Good for her.
This movie was an absolute delight! I was completely captivated from start to finish. The nostalgic summer camp vibes were spot on, and the 80s-style raglans brought such a sense of retro charm. It felt like a perfect blend of nostalgia and modern horror sensibilities. Honestly, it reminded me of what might happen if Gen Z encountered a classic slasher villain - a mix of wit, irony, and sheer chaos.
One of the things that really stood out to me was the way the film embraced its night-time setting. There's something about horror stories shot at night that always adds a layer of suspense and tension, and this movie nailed it. Some of my all-time favorite Buffy the Vampire Slayer episodes were filmed at night, and this film reminded me of why I love that aesthetic in horror so much. The darkness creates an almost intimate atmosphere where anything can happen, and it keeps you on the edge of your seat.
Going into this film, I really didn't know what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. The humor was on point - there were so many quick-witted lines that I couldn't help but laugh out loud. The dialogue was sharp and clever, offering a perfect balance between horror and comedy. I wasn't expecting to have such a fun time while also being genuinely spooked at moments.
I'm beginning to realize that one of my favorite sub-genres in horror is comedy horror. It's just the right mix of tension and release. The cleverness of it all - how the film can both make you laugh and make you jump - really resonates with me. This film is the perfect example of how well horror and humor can work together, and I'm here for it.
Overall, this movie is a fun, fresh take on the slasher genre, and I'll definitely be recommending it to others. It's a perfect blend of nostalgia, laughs, and scares.

Very original !
Olivia Holguin was sensational !!!!
Saw the short movie at the Fantasia Festival with the presence of Clara Aranovich. I found the script to be very interesting and the idea was very original.
Clara and the two writers/actors Will Harris and. Jeremy Radin did an excellent job.
I don't want to get into the details not to spoil anything but I just want to say that Olivia Holguin, the actress that plays Becky the camp monitor was really sensational !!!
I really want to see her in more stuff. Her acting and delivery were on the spot. She holds everything together in this short.
I recommend this movie to everyone !

The beginning is so familiar than you hope a good change of story .
And, indeed, it works, reminding in some measure, a sort of Waiting for Godot. Nice dialogue, fair acting.
But the young woman appears and the direction seems just changed.
You accept this - it is not a so bad idea and the dark humor is the reasonable solution for what you expect.
Unfortunately, the end is just the slasher for this short film with just nice potential, not bad dark comedy. And the only remind remains the dialogue between the old friends, their curse and the too easy- supperficial end of a film looking for a different answer to a so old theme, obvious dusty one, of horror.
So, nice try.
