Mihai Viteazul: Printul Intrat In Legenda Europei

The film - Michael the Brave (2022)/ The Prince who became a legend of Europe - should be watched by all Romanians, being a film with a strong Christian-Orthodox and patriotic message.

It is more of a documentary film, which even brings original documents about the ruler Mihai Viteazul and was filmed in the very places where he passed.

You can also go with the kids, the fight scenes are handled in a special way...they seem much less violent than many cartoons. I wish I had gotten a history lesson like that when I was in school.

Congratulations. I was at the premiere. It's a completely new approach to making and presenting a documentary. Artistic images give more consistency and vigor to the information. But I think that other channels must be found to be presented/distributed to the public, not only at the cinema. Some TV channels, like Digi world, for example, should not be taken into account. It is a project that opens new paths in cinematography!!!

A good documentary, which highlights and relates fine things, which you cannot find anywhere else, about the great voivode, Mihai Viteazu' I am the owner of one of the 20 books that came out from under the "printing house" ... and the last one that still existed at that time, at the First School in Brasov, "A Unknown Chronicle about Mihai Viteazu" - Nurenberg 1603. Everything else that was said in this film, indeed, can be found in this chronicle...impartial, from all points of view.

I look forward to other materials about the one who was and will remain, Mihai Viteazu! ????????????

This is a brutal misappropriation of a heroic historical position. This comes at the time where what we call today Romanians, were called Vlah/Moldovean/Ardelean, and Romanorum was used until very recently for what we call today Byzantines. All in all it is a misuse of the historical figure of Mihai Viteazul/cel Viteaz (the Great), as a figure uniting a nation that did not exist for another quarter of a millennium.

The movie is a joke in representing the past, but it serves as a somewhat expected depiction of one would expect in hindsight to be said about him today, to serve for the future.

The documentary overlay is not balanced, but can reveal a few facts for one to start digesting on the really outstanding profile of the hero. In the appropriated history of what is now known as Romania, Mihai stands out as one of the five huge personalities (possibly the greatest?) that shaped the course of European history by people speaking a Romanian language and acting in the Balkans.
