Franklin and Friends

I loved this show very much. It was sweet, nostalgic, and just overall, a family show. It taught lessons at times, and at other times, it was simply for a laugh. It reminds me of Arthur very much, a PBS show, and I also loved watching Arthur. It reminds me of Arthur because, like Arthur, all of the characters are animals. A funny thing I picked up about this show was that Franklin was the only character on the show that wasn't named after himself. For example, there is a character named Beaver, there's Bear, etc. But Franklin, a turtle, is simply named Franklin. If you (or your child) enjoyed the book series, then I definitely recommend this show. I would recommend to children anywhere from three to eight (maybe nine) years old. Or even to teenagers who simply enjoy the show.

The episodes have passable plots and the animation is very mediocre; not so bad, but could have been much better.

Why did they think this was a good idea?

This show was bad compared to the orignal show and the books.

The animation sucks. The characters are too over happy. It's annoying. The voice work was also not the best. The stories were worse.

What a waste of a reboot.
